I will provide for you there, because five years of famine are still to come. Otherwise you and your household and all who belong to you will become destitute.’

耶稣又对他们说：“你们为了坚守自己的传统，而巧妙地把神的诫命拒绝了。因为摩西说：‘当孝敬父母’，又说：‘咒骂父母的，必被处死。’你们倒说：‘人对父母说，我应该给你的供奉，已经作了各耳板’（各耳板意思是奉给神的供物），你们就不让那人再为父母作什么。

寡妇若有儿孙，就应当让儿孙先在自己家里学习孝道，报答亲恩，因为这在神面前是蒙悦纳的。

埃及地都在你面前，你只管叫你的父亲和兄弟们住在这地最好的地方，他们可以住在歌珊地。你如果知道他们中间有能干的人，可以派他们看管我的牲畜。”

你们却说：‘人若对父母说：“我应该给你们的，已经作了献给神的礼物”，他就可以不孝敬父母了。’你们因为你们的传统，就废弃了神的话。
