如今看來，差我來的並不是你們，乃是上帝；他又使我像法老的父，做他全家的主，來管理埃及全地。

你可以掌管我的家；我的人民都必須聽從你所吩咐的；惟獨在王位上，我才比你大。』法老對約瑟說：『看哪，我立了你來治理埃及全地。』

趕到埃及全地有了饑荒，眾民就向法老哀求食物；法老便對埃及眾人說：『去見約瑟；他對你們說甚麼，你們就作甚麼。』當時饑荒佈滿了遍地；約瑟打開了各處糧倉，將倉裏所有的都賣給埃及人；在埃及地饑荒很厲害。

亞伯拉罕舉目觀看，忽見三個人在他對面站着；亞伯拉罕一看見，就從帳棚口跑去迎接他們，在地上下拜，

看吧，我必叫撒但集團的人，那說自己是猶太人、其實不是、乃是撒謊的——看吧，我必叫他們來，在你腳前下拜，知道我愛你。

告訴他說：『約瑟還活着，並且管理全埃及地的還是他呢。』雅各心裏都冰涼了；他不信他們。
