末底改出自王前、衣朝服、其色藍白、戴大金冕、亦衣絳絳或作紫枲外袍、書珊城之民、歡呼喜樂、

悉託亞哈隨魯王名而書、印以王之印環、以交驛卒、或乘疾馬、或乘疾騾、或乘疾駝、傳至各處、

父命諸僕曰、取至美之服衣之、施環於指、納履於足、

遂奏王曰、王欲榮人、可備王衣之朝服、王乘之御馬、王首戴之王冕、以服與馬付於王臣中最顯者、俾以服衣王所榮之人、又使之乘馬、導之邑衢、宣告其前云、王所榮之人、待之如是、王命哈曼曰、爾速取服與馬、循爾所言、行於坐御門之猶大人末底改、凡爾所言、勿少欠缺、哈曼遂取服與馬、以服衣末底改、使之乘馬、導之邑衢、宣告其前云、王所榮之人、待之如是、後、末底改仍返御門、哈曼心憂首蒙、急歸其家、

織細布細布或作裏衣而售之、製紳售於商賈、

爾臉飾以瓔珞、爾項垂以珠串、甚為美觀、

猶大人末底改在亞哈隨魯王前為相、在猶大人中為尊、見悅於同族、為其民求利益、又慰藉其宗族焉、又慰藉其宗族焉或作又向宗族言平康

視為爾首之華冠、項之金索、

時尼布甲尼撒王俯伏拜但以理、命獻祭焚香、以崇奉之、告但以理曰、爾天主顯露隱微、使爾能示此奧秘、誠為諸神之主、諸王之主、

為己製華毯、所服者皆細麻與紫衣、

以伊及文繡之細麻布為帆、以以利沙島之藍色紫色布為帷帳、

衣爾以繡、以花皮花皮或作海龍皮又作貉皮作履納爾足、以白細麻布裹爾首、以絲披爾身、飾爾以美飾、以釧著於手、以金索垂於項、

正月十三日、遂召王之繕寫、循哈曼所囑、以各州各族之文字方言、託亞哈隨魯王之名書詔、傳於各州之大臣、方伯、與各族之族長、各民之民長、並以王之指環印之、
