And Jehovah said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

耶和华对该隐说：“你为什么发怒呢？你为什么变了脸色呢？

耶和华对该隐说：“你为什么生气呢？你为什么沉下脸来呢？

耶和华对该隐说：“你为什么生气呢？你为什么沉下脸来呢？

耶和华问该隐：“你为什么恼火？为什么面带怒容？

耶和华对该隐说：“你为什么忿怒呢？你为什么垂头丧气呢？

耶和华对该隐说：“你为什么恼火呢？你的脸为什么沉下来呢——

耶和華對該隱說：「你為甚麼發怒呢？你為甚麼變了臉色呢？

耶和華對該隱說：「你為甚麼生氣呢？你為甚麼沉下臉來呢？

耶和華對該隱說：「你為甚麼生氣呢？你為甚麼沉下臉來呢？

耶和華問該隱：「你為什麼惱火？為什麼面帶怒容？

耶和華對該隱說：“你為甚麼忿怒呢？你為甚麼垂頭喪氣呢？

永恆主對該隱說：『你為甚麼惱怒？你臉色為甚麼變了呢？

耶和華對該隱說：「你為什麼惱火呢？你的臉為什麼沉下來呢——

耶和華曰、爾怒奚為、變色曷故、

耶和華曰、爾怒伊何、變色曷故。

主謂該隱曰、爾怒變色何故、

Then the Lord said to Cain,“ Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast?

Then the Lord said to Cain,“ Why are you angry? Why are you looking so sad?

The Lord said to Cain,“ Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen?

“ Why are you so angry?” the Lord asked Cain.“ Why do you look so dejected?

Then the LORD said to Cain,“ Why are you furious? And why do you look despondent?

Then the Lord said to Cain,“ Why are you angry? And why is your face gloomy?

So the Lord said to Cain,“ Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?

Then the Lord said to Cain,“ Why are you furious? And why do you look despondent?

And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

Then the LORD said to Cain,“ Why are you angry, and why is your expression downcast?

Yahweh said to Cain,“ Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen?

Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

For vexation killeth the foolish man, And jealousy slayeth the silly one.

And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that is mine is thine.But it was meet to make merry and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

When therefore the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John( although Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples),he left Judæa, and departed again into Galilee.And he must needs pass through Samaria.

O generation, see ye the word of Jehovah. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? or a land of thick darkness? wherefore say my people, We are broken loose; we will come no more unto thee?

For his disciples were gone away into the city to buy food.The Samaritan woman therefore saith unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, who am a Samaritan woman?( For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: whence then hast thou that living water?

Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? or is thine eye evil, because I am good?

Thus saith Jehovah, What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?
