So I am putting a curse on you. I am driving you away from this ground. It has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

地开了口，从你手里接受你兄弟的血。现在你必从这地受咒诅。

现在你必从这地受诅咒，这地开了口，从你手里接受你弟弟的血。

现在你必从这地受诅咒，这地开了口，从你手里接受你弟弟的血。

地张开口从你手上接受了你弟弟的血，你在地上必受咒诅。

地开了口，从你手里接受了你弟弟的血，现在你要从这地受咒诅。

地张开了口，从你的手中接受了你弟弟的血，所以你现在要从这地受诅咒：

地開了口，從你手裏接受你兄弟的血。現在你必從這地受咒詛。

現在你必從這地受詛咒，這地開了口，從你手裏接受你弟弟的血。

現在你必從這地受詛咒，這地開了口，從你手裏接受你弟弟的血。

地張開口從你手上接受了你弟弟的血，你在地上必受咒詛。

地開了口，從你手裡接受了你弟弟的血，現在你要從這地受咒詛。

地開了口，從你手裏收取了你兄弟的血了；如今你，你是受咒詛、須離開這地的。

地張開了口，從你的手中接受了你弟弟的血，所以你現在要從這地受詛咒：

今地啟口、由於爾手、以受汝弟之血、爾必由地見詛、

汝既殺弟、地口遂張、以受其血、故爾見詛、必離斯土、

地啟口、自爾手受爾弟之血、爾必見詛、不得地之益、

Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

And now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

Now you are cursed and banished from the ground, which has swallowed your brother’s blood.

So now you are cursed, alienated from the ground that opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood you have shed.

Now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

And now cursed art thou from the ground, which hath opened its mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

So now you are cursed, alienated, from the ground that opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood you have shed.

And now[ art] thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

So now, you are banished from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

All who depend on obeying the law are under a curse. It is written,“ May everyone who doesn’t continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law be under God’s curse.”( Deuteronomy 27:26)

But suppose you don’t obey the Lord your God. And you aren’t careful to obey all his commands and rules I’m giving you today. Then he will send curses on you. They’ll catch up with you. Here are those curses.You will be cursed in the cities. You will be cursed out in the country.Your baskets and bread pans will be cursed.Your children will be cursed. Your crops will be cursed. Your calves and lambs will be cursed.You will be cursed no matter where you go.The Lord will send curses on you. You won’t know what’s going on. In everything you do, he will be angry with you. You will be destroyed suddenly and completely. This will happen because you did an evil thing when you deserted the Lord.

So the Lord God spoke to the serpent. He said,“ Because you have done this,“ You are set apart from all livestock and all wild animals. I am putting a curse on you. You will crawl on your belly. You will eat dust all the days of your life.

“ Earth, please don’t cover up my blood! May God always hear my cry for help!

“ Suppose my land cries out against me. And all its soil is wet with tears.Suppose I’ve used up its crops without paying for them. Or I’ve broken the spirit of its renters.Then let thorns grow instead of wheat. Let stinkweed come up instead of barley.” The words of Job end here.

Some people who worship those gods will hear the promise that seals the covenant I’m making. They think they can escape trouble by what they’re saying. They say,“ We’ll be safe, even though we’re stubborn and go our own way.” But they will bring trouble on the whole land.The Lord will never be willing to forgive those people. His great anger will blaze out against them. All the curses I’ve written down in this book will fall on them. And the Lord will erase any mention of them from the earth.He will find those people in all the tribes of Israel and give them nothing but trouble. That will agree with all the curses of the covenant. They are written down in this Book of the Law.

He is coming from the place where he lives. He will punish the people of the earth for their sins. The blood spilled on the earth will be brought out into the open. The ground will no longer hide those who have been killed.

“ May anyone who brings shame on their father or mother be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”“ May anyone who moves their neighbor’s boundary stone be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”“ May anyone who leads blind people down the wrong road be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”“ May anyone who treats unfairly outsiders, widows, and children whose fathers have died be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”“ May anyone who sleeps with his stepmother be under the Lord’ s curse. That man brings shame on his father by doing that.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”“ May anyone who has sex with animals be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”“ May anyone who sleeps with his sister be under the Lord’ s curse. It doesn’t matter whether she is his full sister or his half sister.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”“ May anyone who sleeps with his mother- in- law be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”“ May anyone who kills their neighbor secretly be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”“ May anyone who accepts money to kill someone who isn’t guilty of doing anything wrong be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”“ May anyone who doesn’t honor the words of this law by obeying them be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”

But the earth helped the woman. It opened its mouth and swallowed the river that the dragon had spit out.

Today you are driving me away from the land. I will be hidden from you. I’ll be a restless person who wanders around on the earth. Anyone who finds me will kill me.”
