And now cursed art thou from the ground, which hath opened its mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

今地啟口、由於爾手、以受汝弟之血、爾必由地見詛、

汝既殺弟、地口遂張、以受其血、故爾見詛、必離斯土、

地啟口、自爾手受爾弟之血、爾必見詛、不得地之益、

Now you are under a curse and driven from the ground, which opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

So I am putting a curse on you. I am driving you away from this ground. It has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

And now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

Now you are cursed and banished from the ground, which has swallowed your brother’s blood.

So now you are cursed, alienated from the ground that opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood you have shed.

Now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

So now you are cursed, alienated, from the ground that opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood you have shed.

And now[ art] thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

So now, you are banished from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one who continueth not in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.

But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day, that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee.Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.Cursed shall be thy basket and thy kneading- trough.Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, the increase of thy cattle, and the young of thy flock.Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.Jehovah will send upon thee cursing, discomfiture, and rebuke, in all that thou puttest thy hand unto to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the evil of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.

And Jehovah God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, cursed art thou above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

O earth, cover not thou my blood, And let my cry have no resting- place.

If my land crieth out against me, And the furrows thereof weep together;If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, Or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:Let thistles grow instead of wheat, And cockle instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.

and it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart, to destroy the moist with the dry.Jehovah will not pardon him, but then the anger of Jehovah and his jealousy will smoke against that man, and all the curse that is written in this book shall lie upon him, and Jehovah will blot out his name from under heaven.And Jehovah will set him apart unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that is written in this book of the law.

For, behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed be he that removeth his neighbor’s landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed be he that wresteth the justice due to the sojourner, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed be he that lieth with his father’s wife, because he hath uncovered his father’s skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed be he that lieth with his mother- in- law. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbor in secret. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed be he that taketh a bribe to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.Cursed be he that confirmeth not the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the ground; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth; and it will come to pass, that whosoever findeth me will slay me.
