家之中我為督、我有作為、主不禁禦、但汝乃其妻、我不可犯。安可自干元惡、獲罪於上帝。

此家之人莫大於我、爾既為主人之妻、除爾之外皆付於我、我豈敢作此大惡、獲罪於天主乎、

No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?”

No one in this house is in a higher position than I am. My master hasn’t held anything back from me, except you. You are his wife. So how could I do an evil thing like that? How could I sin against God?”

He is not greater in this house than I am, nor has he kept back anything from me except you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?”

No one here has more authority than I do. He has held back nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How could I do such a wicked thing? It would be a great sin against God.”

第三天，约瑟对他们说：“我是敬畏神的，你们这样做就可以活命：

我对你，唯独对你犯了罪，我做了你眼中看为恶的事；因此你说话的时候就显为公义，你审判的时候就显为清正。

神藉着梦对他说：“是的，我知道你做这事心中纯正，也是我拦阻了你，免得你对我犯罪；因此我没有让你碰她。

那与邻人妻子同房的也是如此；所有碰她的，都难逃罪责。

在这里，进一步要求管家们的是，各人都要被看做是忠心的。

凡是由神所生的，不继续犯罪，因为神的种子住在他里面；他也不能继续犯罪，因为他是由神所生的。

不可私拿东西，反要显出所有美好的忠信，好在一切事上为神我们救主的教导增添光彩。

但那因为不知道而做了该打之事的人，将会受很少鞭打。所以谁被赐予的多，将来向谁索取的也多；托给谁多，将来向谁要求的也更多。

婚姻当受所有人尊重，床也不可玷污，因为神将要审判淫乱和通奸的人。

肉体的行为是清清楚楚的，它们就是：通奸、淫乱、污秽、好色、拜偶像、行邪术、仇恨、纷争、嫉恨、暴怒、争竞、分裂、结派、嫉妒、凶杀、醉酒、荒宴以及类似这样的事。对这些事，我现在要预先告诉你们，就像我以前告诉过你们的那样：行这些事的人不会继承神的国。

那些犬类、行邪术的、淫乱的、杀人的、拜偶像的，以及所有爱虚假、行虚假的人，都在外面。

难道你们不知道，不义的人不会继承神的国吗？不要被迷惑了！无论是淫乱的、拜偶像的、通奸的、做娈童的、同性恋的、偷窃的、贪心的、酗酒的、诽谤人的、勒索人的，都不会继承神的国。

但那些胆怯的、不信的、可憎的、杀人的、淫乱的、行邪术的、拜偶像的，和所有说谎的人，他们的份就在燃烧着烈火和硫磺的湖里。这是第二次的死亡。”

你要管理我的家；我所有的子民都要顺从你的话；只有在宝座上的我比你大。”

亚伯拉罕对管理他所有家业、家中最大的仆人说：“请你把手放在我大腿底下，

与女人通奸的，缺乏心智；行这事的，毁灭自己。

神藉着夜间的一个梦来到亚比米勒那里，对他说：“看哪，因你接来的那女人的缘故，你就要死了！她是个有夫之妇！”
