But he refused.“ With me in charge,” he told her,“ my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care.

But Joseph refused.“ Look,” he told her,“ my master trusts me with everything in his entire household.

But he refused.“ Look,” he said to his master’s wife,“ with me here my master does not concern himself with anything in his house, and he has put all that he owns under my authority.

But he refused and said to his master’s wife,“ Look, with me here, my master does not concern himself with anything in the house, and he has put me in charge of all that he owns.

But he refused and said to his master’s wife,“ Look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand.

But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master knoweth not what is with me in the house, and he hath put all that he hath into my hand:

至於跟婦人行淫的呢、卻是全無心思；行這事的，乃是毁滅自己。受擊傷受凌辱、是他所要得到的；而且他的羞醜又塗抹不掉。

因為陌生婦人的嘴脣滴下蜂蜜；她的口比油更滑；其終局卻苦似苦堇，快如雙刃之刀。她的腳下入死地；她的腳步逕向着陰間走；生命之路徑、她不修平；她的轍跡無定向而不自知。如今弟子啊，務要聽我，不可離棄我口中的訓言。要使你所行的路離她遙遠；不可走近她住所的門口；

弟子啊，要將你的心給予我；你的眼要喜悅我的道路。因為妓女是深坑；外女是窄阱；她並且埋伏着像強盜，使人間增加背信奸詐的人。

弟子啊，你父親的誡命你要恪守着；你母親的指教、你不可擯棄；要不斷地繫在你心上，綁在你脖子上。你出入往來、她必引導你；你躺着睡，她必看護你；你醒來，她必跟你談話。因為誡命是燈；指教是光；管教之勸責是人生之道路；能保護你遠離壞婦人，遠離外女的諂媚舌頭。你心裏不可貪愛她的美麗，你不可被她的媚眼所勾引。

她好保守你遠離陌生婦人，遠離說諂媚話的外女。

陌生婦人的口是深坑；永恆主所忿怒的必陷於其中。

有些朋友只是做同伴；但有愛友、比弟兄更親密。

弟子啊，罪人若引誘你，你不可隨從。

愚頑的婦人說話鬧嚷嚷；她放縱淫蕩，不知羞恥。她坐在她家門口，坐在城中高處的座位上，呼叫過路的，呼叫直行其道的人，說：『誰是愚蠢人，可以轉到這裏來！』她對全無心思的人說：『偷舀的水是甜的；暗喫的飯很有滋味。』人卻不知陰魂之處就在那裏；她的顧客就在陰間的深處。

進去找鄰舍妻子的、也是如此；凡和她有性接觸的必難免於受刑罰。

你的心不可偏向淫婦的路；你不可迷入她的路徑；因為她所擊倒而死的很多；她所殺戮的實在無數。她的住所是引到陰間的路，是下到死亡之密宮。

智慧必援救你遠離陌生婦人，遠離說諂媚話的外女；她捨棄幼年的配偶，忘了上帝的盟約。她的家陷入死地，她的轍跡偏向陰魂之處；凡進去找她的都不得轉回，也不能再達到人生的路徑。

因為智慧必入你心；知識必成為你所喜悅的；
