Soon Joseph had another dream, and again he told his brothers about it.“ Listen, I have had another dream,” he said.“ The sun, moon, and eleven stars bowed low before me!”

Then he had another dream and told it to his brothers.“ Look,” he said,“ I had another dream, and this time the sun, moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

Then he had yet another dream, and informed his brothers of it, and said,“ Behold, I have had yet another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said,“ Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”

And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it to his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed yet a dream; and, behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars made obeisance to me.

「先祖們嫉妒自己的弟弟約瑟，把他賣到了埃及。但上帝一直與他同在，救他脫離一切危難，又賜他過人的智慧，使他在埃及法老面前得到恩寵，官拜宰相治理全國，並管理王室。後來，埃及和迦南全境遭遇饑荒，災情嚴重，我們的先祖們斷了糧。雅各聽說埃及有糧，就派先祖們去那裡買糧，那是我們的先祖初次去埃及。他們第二次去的時候，約瑟才和弟兄們相認，並且領他們拜見埃及王。後來，約瑟派人去把父親雅各和全族七十五人都接到埃及。

猶大和他兄弟們回到約瑟家時，約瑟還在那裡，他們就俯伏在他面前。

約瑟的哥哥們見父親死了，就說：「約瑟會不會懷恨在心，因我們以前惡待他而報復我們呢？」於是，他們派人去對約瑟說：「你父親臨終時交待這樣的話給你，『從前你哥哥們惡待你，求你饒恕他們的罪惡和過犯。』我們是你父親的上帝的僕人，求你饒恕我們的罪惡。」約瑟聽見這些話，就哭了。約瑟的哥哥們來見他，俯伏在他面前，說：「我們是你的奴僕。」約瑟對他們說：「你們不要害怕，我豈能代替上帝？從前你們是要加害於我，但上帝有祂的美意，祂藉此保全許多人的性命，正如今日的光景。因此，你們不要害怕，我會照顧你們和你們的兒女。」約瑟好言好語地寬慰他們。

你們快回去告訴父親，他兒子約瑟說，『上帝已經使我管理整個埃及，請他立刻來這裡。

我們在田裡捆莊稼，我捆的莊稼站起來，你們捆的莊稼都圍著我捆的莊稼下拜。」

王的夢出現了兩次，表示上帝的心意已定，上帝必很快成就這事。

它逐漸強大，高及天軍，將一些天軍和星宿拋到地上，用腳踐踏。

他們回答說：「你僕人——我們的父親仍然健在、安康。」說完了，又向他下拜。

約瑟備好車前去迎接父親以色列。父子重逢，約瑟抱住父親哭了很久。

好使你們在這個彎曲敗壞的時代中無可指責、誠實無偽，作上帝純潔無瑕的兒女，如同明光照耀在世上，

約瑟對法老說：「王的夢都是同一個意思，上帝已經藉著夢把祂將要做的事指示王了。

約瑟按各家人口提供糧食給父親、弟兄及其他家人。

我主曾經問僕人們是否有父親和弟兄，

約瑟把夢告訴了父親和哥哥們，他父親就責備他說：「你做的是什麼夢！難道你的父母弟兄都要來向你俯伏下拜嗎？」
