掃羅對大衛說：「我將大女兒米拉給你為妻，只要你為我奮勇，為耶和華爭戰。」掃羅心裏說：「我不好親手害他，要藉非利士人的手害他。」

人若賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有甚麼益處呢？人還能拿甚麼換生命呢？

你為甚麼藐視耶和華的命令，行他眼中看為惡的事呢？你借亞捫人的刀殺害赫人烏利亞，又娶了他的妻為妻。

拉班對他說：「你實在是我的骨肉。」雅各就和他同住了一個月。

「拐帶人口，或是把人賣了，或是留在他手下，必要把他治死。

若過一兩天才死，就可以不受刑，因為是用錢買的。

行淫和親男色的，搶人口和說謊話的，並起假誓的，或是為別樣敵正道的事設立的。

說：「我把他交給你們，你們願意給我多少錢？」他們就給了他三十塊錢。

又說：「不可流他的血，可以把他丟在這野地的坑裏，不可下手害他。」呂便的意思是要救他脫離他們的手，把他歸還他的父親。

次日早晨，大衛寫信與約押，交烏利亞隨手帶去。信內寫着說：「要派烏利亞前進，到陣勢極險之處，你們便退後，使他被殺。」約押圍城的時候，知道敵人那裏有勇士，便將烏利亞派在那裏。城裏的人出來和約押打仗；大衛的僕人中有幾個被殺的，赫人烏利亞也死了。

我對他們說：「我們盡力贖回我們弟兄，就是賣與外邦的猶大人；你們還要賣弟兄，使我們贖回來嗎？」他們就靜默不語，無話可答。

並肉桂、荳蔻、香料、香膏、乳香、酒、油、細麵、麥子、牛、羊、車、馬，和奴僕、人口。
