遂以異邦神像、及耳環與之、雅各藏於近乎示劍之橡下、

So they gave Jacob all the foreign gods they had and the rings in their ears, and Jacob buried them under the oak at Shechem.

又曰、我有所求、各以所獲耳環予我、蓋敵乃以實瑪利人、有金耳環、眾曰、我樂與之、遂鋪其衣、各以所獲耳環、擲於其中、基甸所索之金耳環、重一千七百舍客勒、此外又得米甸王所佩之月環垂環、所衣之絳衣、及其駝項之索、基甸用之作聖衣、置於己邑俄弗拉、以色列人狥欲拜之、成為基甸與其家之機檻、

耶和華曰、昔彼奉事巴力、為之焚香、以耳環珍寶自飾、從其情人而忘我、我必討之、

取所造之犢、爇以火、擣為粉、播於水、令以色列人飲之、

是日也、人之金銀偶像、為崇拜而造者、必投之鼴鼠蝙蝠、

爾當毀其壇、碎其柱像、斫其木偶、火其雕像、必如是待之、

其神之雕像、必焚以火、其上金銀、勿貪勿取、免爾因此陷於坎阱、以其為爾上帝耶和華所惡也、

爾必衊爾雕像所飾之銀、鑄像所包之金、擲之若穢物、謂之曰去、

亞倫曰、脫爾妻孥垂耳之金環、攜以予我、民即脫之、以授亞倫、亞倫受之、鎔鑄刻鏤為犢、眾曰、以色列人歟、此即導爾出埃及之神也、
