耶和華命雅各曰、當歸父家、返故族、我必祐爾。

我左右爾、雖涉江河、不致沉淪、雖經烈燄、不致焚燬。

雅各悚懼不勝、以從者及牛羊駝分為二隊、

使吾祖亞伯拉罕之上帝、吾父以撒所畏之上帝、不祐我、汝必棄我、絕無所得、惟上帝監我操作辛勤、故前夕責爾。○

凡事崇主、則蒙啟導。

雅各獨留、遇一人、與之角力、迄於黎明。

我必祐爾、爾所向往、我必庇護、使歸斯土、不汝遐棄、吾所許者、必踐其言。○

民將居郇山、及耶路撒冷城、爾不復哭泣、呼籲於上、主必俯聞、加以矜憫、

患難之時、呼籲耶和華、蒙其援手兮、

患難之際、禱告於我、我爾援、爾我頌兮、

耶和華兮、恆聽我祈、我敬愛之兮、主傾耳而俯聞、故我畢生必禱告之兮、

遭難之時、予曾許願、茲詣聖室、燔祭以償兮、

夢有梯、自地參天、上帝之使者、陟降於上。耶和華據其巔曰、我乃爾祖亞伯拉罕與以撒之上帝耶和華、爾所寢之地、悉以賚爾、爰及苗裔。

我逢患難、上帝範衛我、扶翼我兮、

耶和華兮、我乃爾僕、我之母、即爾之婢、爾其解我結兮、我必獻酬恩之祭、籲耶和華名兮、我曾許願、祀耶和華、必在選民間償之兮、

遂許願曰、如上帝眷佑我、庇護我、我所向往、賜以衣食、安然而歸、則耶和華必為我之上帝。且我立柱石將為上帝殿、上帝所錫我者、十輸其一、獻於上帝。

吾心之神、惟耶和華是頌、譽其聖名兮、吾心頌美耶和華、念其恩澤弗忘兮、彼也宥余罪愆、醫余疾病兮、以手援予、免於死亡、賜以仁慈矜憫、若加冠冕兮、余雖老邁、得飫嘉物、俾余復壯、譬彼蒼鷹兮、

耶和華無不善、著其經綸、普救人民、願人讚美之兮、

彼禱余、我垂聽之、彼遭難、我眷祐之、以手援之、俾得尊榮兮、

當啟道義之門、余入其內、頌讚耶和華兮、斯門也、即耶和華之門、義人必進之兮、主垂聽而拯救、余必頌美之兮。工師所棄之石、成為屋隅首石兮、
