不要把神圣之物丢给狗，也不要把你们的珍珠丢在猪面前，免得它们用脚把这些践踏了，然后转身撕咬你们。

其实外表上做犹太人的，并不是犹太人；外表上、肉身上的割礼，也不是割礼。然而，在内心做犹太人的才是犹太人；同样，内心的割礼才是割礼——不是靠着律法条文而是靠着圣灵；这样的人得到的称赞不是从人来的，而是从神来的。

于是就在那一天，亚伯拉罕照着神向他所说的，叫来他的儿子以实玛利和家中所有的男子，无论是在他家里出生的，还是用银子买来的，都割去了他们肉体上的包皮。

受割礼不重要，不受割礼也不重要，重要的是遵守神的命令。

在所有来到城门口的赫提子孙眼前，转给亚伯拉罕作他的财产。
