Then the man said,“ Let me go. It is morning.” But Jacob replied,“ I won’t let you go unless you bless me.”

那人说：“天黎明了，容我去吧！”雅各说：“你不给我祝福，我就不容你去。”

那人说：“天快亮了，让我走吧！”雅各说：“你不给我祝福，我就不让你走。”

那人说：“天快亮了，让我走吧！”雅各说：“你不给我祝福，我就不让你走。”

那人说：“天亮了，让我走吧！”但雅各说：“你不祝福我，我就不让你走。”

那人说：“天快亮了，让我走吧。”雅各说：“如果你不给我祝福，我就不让你走。”

那人说：“天亮了，让我走吧！”雅各说：“你不祝福我，我就不让你走。”

那人說：『天快亮了，讓我走吧。』雅各說：『你不給我祝福，我就不讓你走。』

那人說：「天亮了，讓我走吧！」雅各說：「你不祝福我，我就不讓你走。」

曰、容我去、天明矣、曰、不為我祝嘏、必不容爾去、

曰天將明矣、請釋我去。雅各曰、不為我祝嘏、必不容爾去。

其人曰、天將明矣、容我去、曰、爾不為我祝福、必不容爾去、

Then the man said,“ Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

Then he said,“ Let me go, for the day has broken.” But Jacob said,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

Then the man said,“ Let me go, for the dawn is breaking!” But Jacob said,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

Then he said to Jacob,“ Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob said,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

Then he said,“ Let me go, for the dawn is breaking.” But he said,“ I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

And He said,“ Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said,“ I will not let You go unless You bless me!”

And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

Then He said to Jacob,“ Let Me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob said,“ I will not let You go unless You bless me.”

And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

Then the man said,“ Let me go, for the dawn is breaking.”“ I will not let you go,” Jacob replied,“ unless you bless me.”

The man said,“ Let me go, for the day breaks.” Jacob said,“ I won’t let you go unless you bless me.”

The Lord remembers us and will bless us. He will bless Israel, his people. He will bless the priests of Aaron.The Lord will bless those who have respect for him. He will bless important and unimportant people alike.

At Peniel he struggled with the angel and won. Jacob wept and begged for his blessing. God also met with him at Bethel. He talked with him there.

Three times I begged the Lord to take it away from me.But he said to me,“ My grace is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak.” So I am very happy to brag about how weak I am. Then Christ’s power can rest on me.

As soon as I had passed by them I found the one my heart loves. I threw my arms around him and didn’t let him go until I had brought him to my mother’s house. I took him to my mother’s room.

God, have mercy on us and bless us. May you be pleased with us.

Jesus told his disciples a story. He wanted to show them that they should always pray and not give up.He said,“ In a certain town there was a judge. He didn’t have any respect for God or care about what people thought.A widow lived in that town. She came to the judge again and again. She kept begging him,‘ Make things right for me. Someone is treating me badly.’“ For some time the judge refused. But finally he said to himself,‘ I don’t have any respect for God. I don’t care about what people think.But this widow keeps bothering me. So I will see that things are made right for her. If I don’t, she will someday come and attack me!’ ”The Lord said,“ Listen to what the unfair judge says.God’s chosen people cry out to him day and night. Won’t he make things right for them? Will he keep putting them off?

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel. He said,“ I wish you would bless me. I wish you would give me more territory. Let your power protect me. Keep me from harm. Then I won’t have any pain.” God gave him what he asked for.

Now leave me alone. I will destroy them because of my great anger. Then I will make you into a great nation.”

No! In all these things we are more than winners! We owe it all to Christ, who has loved us.

Jesus prayed while he lived on earth. He made his appeal with sincere cries and tears. He prayed to the God who could save him from death. God answered Jesus because he truly honored God.

My dear brothers and sisters, remain strong in the faith. Don’t let anything move you. Always give yourselves completely to the work of the Lord. Because you belong to the Lord, you know that your work is not worthless.

The land produces its crops. God, our God, blesses us.May God continue to bless us. Then people from one end of the earth to the other will have respect for him.

Your head is like a crown on you. It is as beautiful as Mount Carmel. Your hair is as smooth as purple silk. I am captured by your flowing curls.

No one prays to you. No one asks you for help. You have turned your face away from us. You have let us feel the effects of our sins.

They approached the village where they were going. Jesus kept walking as if he were going farther.But they tried hard to keep him from leaving. They said,“ Stay with us. It is nearly evening. The day is almost over.” So he went in to stay with them.

Do not try to stop me. I am going to destroy them. I will wipe them out from the earth. Then I will make you into a great nation. Your people will be stronger than they were. There will be more of you than there were of them.”

The Lord is the Holy One of Israel. He made them. He says to them,“ Are you asking me about what will happen to my children? Are you telling me what I should do with what my hands have made?
