拉班又對他的族弟兄們說：『撿石頭！』他們就拿石頭作成一堆，大家就在那裏，在那一堆旁邊，喫喝。

又对众弟兄说：“你们堆聚石头。”他们就拿石头来堆成一堆，大家便在旁边吃喝。

对弟兄们说：“大家来堆积石头。”他们拿石头堆成一堆，于是在那里，在石堆旁边吃喝。

对弟兄们说：“大家来堆积石头。”他们拿石头堆成一堆，于是在那里，在石堆旁边吃喝。

又吩咐族人去收集石头。他们把石头堆成一堆，在旁边吃喝。

雅各又对自己的众兄弟说：“你们把石头堆聚起来。”他们就把石头拿来，堆成了一堆。他们又在石堆旁边吃喝。

He said to his relatives,“ Gather some stones.” So they took stones and piled them in a heap, and they ate there by the heap.

He said to his relatives,“ Get some stones.” So they took stones and put them in a pile. And they ate there by it.

And Jacob said to his kinsmen,“ Gather stones.” And they took stones and made a heap, and they ate there by the heap.

Then he told his family members,“ Gather some stones.” So they gathered stones and piled them in a heap. Then Jacob and Laban sat down beside the pile of stones to eat a covenant meal.

Then Jacob said to his relatives,“ Gather stones.” And they took stones and made a mound, then ate there by the mound.

你摩挱了我一切的物件，你找着了甚麼是你家的物件沒有？請放在這兒，當着你我弟兄們面前；讓他們在你我之間辨別辨別。

他們從約但河裏取來的那十二塊石頭、約書亞給立在吉甲。對以色列人說：『日後你們的子孫若問他們父親說：「這些石頭甚麼意思？」你們就可以講給你們的子孫知道、說：「當日以色列人過這約但河、是在乾地上過來的。」因為永恆主你們的上帝使約但河的水從你們前面乾了、等着你們過來，正如永恆主你們的上帝對蘆葦海所行的、使它從我們面前乾了、等着我們過來一樣；好使地上萬族之民都知道永恆主的手大有能力，也使你們日日不斷地敬畏永恆主你們的上帝。』

拋擲石頭有時，堆聚石頭有時；懷抱有時，停止懷抱有時；

至於你的神像呢，你在誰身上找着，誰就不該活着；當着我們弟兄面前、你認一認；在我這裏有甚麼是你的，你只管拿走。』雅各原不知道拉結偷了神像。

約書亞對他們說：『你們要過去、到約但河中，在永恆主你們的上帝的櫃前面，按着以色列人十二族派的數目，每人把一塊石頭扛在肩膀上，這石頭好在你們中間做記號；日後你們的子孫若問說：「這些石頭對於你們有甚麼意思？」你們就可以對他們說：「是因為約但河的水從永恆主的約櫃前面截斷了；當櫃過約但河的時候，約但河的水截斷了，故此這些石頭要給以色列人做記念物、直到永遠。」』以色列人就照約書亞所吩咐的這樣去行；他們照永恆主所告訴約書亞的、按以色列人族派的數目、從約但河中間、拿起十二塊石頭來，帶着過河，到住宿的地方，就放在那裏。約書亞把十二塊石頭立在約但河中間，在抬約櫃的祭司的腳站立的地方；直到今日、那些石頭還在那裏。

他們將押沙龍丟在森林中一個大坑裏，又在上頭立起一堆極大堆的石頭來；以色列眾人都逃跑，各回各家去了。

拉班帶領他的族弟兄去追趕，追了七天的路程，才在基列山追上了。

這樣，眾人就在亞干身上立起一大堆石頭；那堆石頭到今日還在；於是永恆主就回心轉意、不發烈怒。因此那地方到今日還叫亞割山谷。

又在山上宰獻祭牲，請了自己的族弟兄來喫飯：他們喫了飯，便在山上過夜。
