他們打發小孩出去、多如羊羣；他們的兒女踴躍舞蹈。他們隨着手鼓和琴而高唱，又因簫笛的聲音而歡喜。他們興隆順遂地消磨了年日，一眨眼就下陰間，毫無痛苦。然而他們對上帝說：「離開我們吧！我們不願意認識你的道路。

雅八的兄弟名叫猶八；猶八是一切彈琴吹簫之人的祖師。
