他说：‘你举目观看，所有爬在母羊身上的公山羊，都是有条纹、有斑点和有花斑的，因为拉班向你所作的一切，我都看见了。

他说：‘你当举目观看，所有与母羊交配的公羊，都是有纹、有点、有花斑的；这是因我看见了拉班对你所做的一切。

And he said,‘ Look up and see that all the male goats mating with the flock are streaked, speckled or spotted, for I have seen all that Laban has been doing to you.

He said,‘ Look around you. See the male goats mating with the flock. All of them have stripes, speckles or spots. That’s because I have seen everything that Laban has been doing to you.

And he said,‘ Lift up your eyes and see, all the goats that mate with the flock are striped, spotted, and mottled, for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you.

“ The angel said,‘ Look up, and you will see that only the streaked, speckled, and spotted males are mating with the females of your flock. For I have seen how Laban has treated you.

And he said,‘ Look up and see: all the males that are mating with the flocks are streaked, spotted, and speckled, for I have seen all that Laban has been doing to you.

He said,‘ Now raise your eyes and see that all the male goats that are mating are striped, speckled, or mottled; for I have seen everything that Laban has been doing to you.

And He said,‘ Lift your eyes now and see, all the rams which leap on the flocks are streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted; for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you.

And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see: all the he- goats which leap upon the flock are ringstreaked, speckled, and grizzled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.

And He said,‘ Look up and see: all the males that are mating with the flocks are streaked, spotted, and speckled, for I have seen all that Laban has been doing to you.

And he said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the rams which leap upon the cattle[ are] ringstraked, speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.

Then he said,‘ Observe that all the male goats mating with the flock are streaked, speckled, or spotted, for I have observed all that Laban has done to you.

He said,‘ Now lift up your eyes, and behold, all the male goats which leap on the flock are streaked, speckled, and grizzled, for I have seen all that Laban does to you.

永恆主說：『我的人民在埃及的困苦我實在看見了；他們在督工之下所發的哀叫聲、我也聽見了；他們的苦痛、我是知道的。

若不是我父親的上帝，亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒所敬畏的，與我同在，你如今必定打發我空手回去的。但是我的苦情和我親手所勞碌的，上帝都看見了，所以他昨夜指正你。』

我那在埃及的人民所受的苦害，我看得清清楚楚了；他們的歎息我聽見了；我下來是要救拔他們；如今你來，我要差遣你往埃及去。」

做主人的、你們對僕人也要同樣地行。要停止恐嚇；因為知道有主在天上，不但是他們的主，也是你們的主；他不以貌取人。

我行路、我伸懶腰、你都篩下來細察；我一切所行的、你都熟悉。

『不可欺壓你的鄰舍，也不可搶奪他的東西；雇工人的工錢不可在你那裏過夜到早晨。

你要當天發給他工價，不可等到日落才給他——因為他貧困，他心直掛念着那工錢——恐怕他呼求永恆主而控告你，你就有了罪。

你若在一省之中見有窮乏人受欺壓、而公平公義的權利被剝奪，你不要因這事而詫異；因為有一位高於居高位者在鑒察着，而在他們以上還有更高的。

現在你看，以色列人的哀叫聲已經到達了我了；埃及人怎樣壓迫他們、我也看見了。

永恆主說：『因困苦人受蹂躪，因貧窮人的哀唉哼，我現在要起來，把他安置於他所切慕的穩妥之地。』

雅各取了楊樹杏樹楓樹的嫩枝子，將枝子剝成了白的剝紋，使枝子的白質脫露出來。將他所剝皮的枝子插在槽裏，在水溝裏，就是羊來喝水的地方，和羊相對；羊來喝水的時候、公母往往配合。羊在枝子前面配合，就生下有紋有斑有點的來。雅各將綿羔羊分出來，使羊面對着拉班羊羣中有紋的和一切黑色的；他把自己的羊羣另放在一處，不放在拉班的羊中間。每逢肥壯的羊配合的時候，雅各總把枝子插在槽裏，正在羊眼前，使牠們在許多枝子中間配合。當羊瘦弱的時候，雅各卻不插着枝子：這樣，瘦弱的就歸拉班，肥壯的就歸雅各。於是雅各那個人就突破限量大大發達起來了，他擁有着很多羊羣、又有婢女、奴僕、駱駝和驢。
