我沒來以前，你所有的很少，現在卻大大地增加了；耶和華隨著我的腳蹤賜福給你。現在，我甚麼時候才能興家立業呢？”

亞伯蘭有很多牲畜和金銀。

亞伯蘭因這女人的緣故就被優待，得了許多牛羊、公驢、母驢、僕婢和駱駝。

請你收下我帶來給你的禮物，因為神施恩給我，我甚麼都有了。”雅各再三懇求他，他才收下了。

你向你僕人所施的一切慈愛和信實，我實在不配得。從前我只拿著我的手杖過這約旦河；現在我卻擁有這兩隊人馬了。

我買了僕婢，也有生在家中的奴僕；又擁有大群牛羊，勝過任何比我先在耶路撒冷的人所擁有的。

我與你同在，你無論到哪裡去，我必看顧你；我必領你回到這地方來，因為我必不離棄你，直到我實現了我對你所應許的。”

如果不是我父親的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒所敬畏的神，與我同在，你現在必定打發我空手回去。但神看見了我的苦情和我手中的辛勞，所以他昨天晚上責備了你。”

他們不必從田野撿柴，也不必從樹林裡伐木，因為他們必把武器當柴燒；他們必搶劫那些曾搶劫他們的人，掠奪那些掠奪他們的人。這是主耶和華的宣告。

你們的父親卻欺騙了我，十次更改了我的工資；但神不容許他傷害我。如果他說：‘有斑點的算是你的工資’，羊群所生的全部都有斑點；如果他說：‘有條紋的算是你的工資’，羊群所生的全部有條紋。

因為他們都有很多財物，所以不能住在一起；又因他們牲畜很多的緣故，他們寄居的地方也容不下他們。
