Jacob became angry with Rachel and said,“ Am I in the place of God? He has withheld offspring from you!”

雅各向拉结生气，说：“叫你不生育的是神，我岂能代替他作主呢？”

雅各对拉结生气，说：“是我代替上帝使你生不出孩子的吗？”

雅各对拉结生气，说：“是我代替神使你生不出孩子的吗？”

雅各气愤地说：“使你不能生育的是上帝，难道我能代替上帝吗？”

雅各就向拉结生气，说：“使你不能生育的是神，我能代替他吗？”

雅各的怒气就向瑞秋发作，说：“我难道能代替神吗？是他不让你腹中有胎儿。”

雅各向拉結生氣，說：「叫你不生育的是神，我豈能代替他作主呢？」

雅各的怒氣就向拉結發作，說：『我哪能代替上帝做主呢？是他不使你有腹中的果子呀。』

雅各的怒氣就向拉結發作，說：「我難道能代替神嗎？是他不讓你腹中有胎兒。」

雅各怒曰、使爾不育者、上帝也、我豈代為上帝乎、

雅各怒曰、使爾不育者、在上帝、豈在我乎。

雅各怒拉結曰、使爾不育者乃天主、我豈能代天主乎、

Jacob became angry with her and said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has kept you from having children?”

Jacob became angry with her. He said,“ Do you think I’m God? He’s the one who has kept you from having children.”

Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel, and he said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

Then Jacob became furious with Rachel.“ Am I God?” he asked.“ He’s the one who has kept you from having children!”

Then Jacob’s anger burned against Rachel, and he said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

And Jacob’s anger was aroused against Rachel, and he said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

And Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God’s stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?

Jacob became angry with Rachel and said,“ Am I in God’s place, who has withheld children from you?”

And Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said,[ Am] I in God’s stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?

Jacob became furious with Rachel and exclaimed,“ Am I in the place of God, who has kept you from having children?”

Jacob’s anger burned against Rachel, and he said,“ Am I in God’s place, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

Sarai said to Abram,“ Since the LORD has prevented me from bearing children, go to my slave; perhaps through her I can build a family.” And Abram agreed to what Sarai said.

But he gave a double portion to Hannah, for he loved her even though the LORD had kept her from conceiving.

When the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes and asked,“ Am I God, killing and giving life, that this man expects me to cure a man of his skin disease? Recognize that he is only picking a fight with me.”

When the LORD saw that Leah was neglected, he opened her womb; but Rachel was unable to conceive.

But Joseph said to them,“ Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God?

As he approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses became enraged and threw the tablets out of his hands, smashing them at the base of the mountain.

After looking around at them with anger, he was grieved at the hardness of their hearts and told the man,“ Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out, and his hand was restored.

Then Jacob became incensed and brought charges against Laban.“ What is my crime?” he said to Laban.“ What is my sin, that you have pursued me?

Those who are full hire themselves out for food, but those who are starving hunger no more. The woman who is childless gives birth to seven, but the woman with many sons pines away.The LORD brings death and gives life; he sends some down to Sheol, and he raises others up.

But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Whoever insults his brother or sister, will be subject to the court. Whoever says,‘ You fool!’ will be subject to hellfire.

He gives the childless woman a household, making her the joyful mother of children. Hallelujah!

for the LORD had completely closed all the wombs in Abimelech’s household on account of Sarah, Abraham’s wife.

He will love you, bless you, and multiply you. He will bless your offspring, and the produce of your land— your grain, new wine, and fresh oil— the young of your herds, and the newborn of your flocks, in the land he swore to your ancestors that he would give you.You will be blessed above all peoples; there will be no infertile male or female among you or your livestock.

Be angry and do not sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your anger,

Sons are indeed a heritage from the LORD, offspring, a reward.

Isaac prayed to the LORD on behalf of his wife because she was childless. The LORD was receptive to his prayer, and his wife Rebekah conceived.

Then she exclaimed with a loud cry,“ Blessed are you among women, and your child will be blessed!
