When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

The woman saw that the tree’s fruit was good to eat and pleasing to look at. She also saw that it would make a person wise. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her. And he ate it.

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.

The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.

不是亞當受了引誘，而是女人受了引誘，陷在過犯裡面。

每一個人受試探，都是被自己的私慾所勾引誘惑的。私慾懷了胎，就生出罪；罪長成了，就產生死亡。

有一天近黃昏的時候，大衛從床上起來，在王宮的平頂上散步。他從平頂上看見一個婦人在洗澡；這婦人容貌非常美麗。

我在戰利品中，看見了一件美麗的示拿衣服、二千二百八十克銀子，和一條重五百七十克的金條；我因貪愛這些物件，就把它們拿去了；現在埋藏在我帳棚的地裡，銀子在底下。”

“人子啊！我要打擊你，把你眼中所喜愛的奪去，你卻不可悲哀，不可哭泣，也不可流淚。

“人子啊！我從他們中間奪去他們的堡壘、他們所喜歡的榮耀、他們眼所喜愛的、心所崇尚的和他們的兒女的時候，

正好像罪藉著一個人入了世界，死又是從罪來的，所以死就臨到所有人，因為所有人都犯了罪。沒有律法以前，罪已經在世界上了；不過，沒有律法的時候，罪也不算罪。可是，從亞當到摩西，死就掌權了，甚至那些不像亞當那樣犯罪的人，也在死的權下；亞當正是要來的那一位的預表。但恩賞和過犯是截然不同的；如果因著那一人的過犯，眾人都死了，神的恩典和這一人耶穌基督在恩典裡的賞賜，對眾人就更加豐盛了。這賞賜和那一人犯罪的後果也是不同的；因為審判是由一人而來，以致定罪，恩賞卻由許多過犯而來，以致稱義。如果因著那一人的過犯，死就因那一人而掌權，那些蒙豐富的恩典並且得公義為賞賜的，就更要因這一位耶穌基督在生命中掌權了。這樣看來，因一次的過犯，所有人都被定罪；照樣，因一次的義行，所有人都被稱義得生命了。因著那一人的悖逆，眾人就被列為罪人；照樣，因著這一人的順服，眾人也被列為義人了。

這些事以後，約瑟主人的妻子以目傳情給約瑟，說：“與我同睡吧。”

可是我告訴你們，凡是看見婦女就動淫念的，心裡已經犯了姦淫。

神的眾子看見人的女子美麗，就隨意挑選，娶作妻子。

那人說：“你所賜給我、和我在一起的那女人，她把樹上的果子給我，我就吃了。”

參孫往迦薩去，在那裡看見一個妓女，就進去與她親近。有人告訴迦薩人說：“參孫到這裡來了。”他們就把他圍住，整夜在城門口埋伏著，整夜默不作聲，心裡說：“等到早晨天亮，我們才殺他。”

可是他們卻在亞當城背約，在那裡向我行詭詐。

耶和華神又對亞當說：“因為你聽從了你妻子的話，吃了我吩咐你不可吃的那樹上的果子；地就必因你的緣故受咒詛；你必終生勞苦，才能從地裡得吃的。

“我與自己的眼睛立了約，決不注視處女。

‘你要告訴以色列家，主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我必使我的聖所被褻瀆，這聖所就是你們所誇耀的勢力，眼所喜愛的，心中所愛惜的。你們遺下的兒女，都必倒在刀下。
