The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law,

You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.

He was despised and abandoned by men, A man of great pain and familiar with sickness; And like one from whom people hide their faces, He was despised, and we had no regard for Him.However, it was our sicknesses that He Himself bore, And our pains that He carried; Yet we ourselves assumed that He had been afflicted, Struck down by God, and humiliated.

Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, so that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,and free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.

“ Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they shall name Him Immanuel,” which translated means,“ God with us.”

and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the weeds are the sons of the evil one;

and said,“ You who are full of all deceit and fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not stop making crooked the straight ways of the Lord?

And behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David;and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.”But Mary said to the angel,“ How will this be, since I am a virgin?”The angel answered and said to her,“ The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; for that reason also the holy Child will be called the Son of God.

And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war,and they did not prevail, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven.And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,“ Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night.And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.For this reason, rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you with great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.”And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.

And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

The Lord has sworn to David A truth from which He will not turn back:“ I will set upon your throne one from the fruit of your body.

Behold, I have given you authority to walk on snakes and scorpions, and authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.

Then the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died.So the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.

Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the plunder with the strong, Because He poured out His life unto death, And was counted with wrongdoers; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the wrongdoers.

How long will you waver, You rebellious daughter? For the Lord has created a new thing on the earth: A woman will shelter a man.”

Therefore it says,“ When He ascended on high, He led captive the captives, And He gave gifts to people.”

When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.

I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in regard to Me,but so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me. Get up, let’s go from here.

Who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Therefore He will give them up until the time When she who is in labor has given birth. Then the remainder of His kinsmen Will return to the sons of Israel.

And He came out and went, as was His habit, to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed Him.Now when He arrived at the place, He said to them,“ Pray that you do not come into temptation.”And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and began to pray,saying,“ Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.”[ Now an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him.And being in agony, He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground].

While I was with you daily in the temple, you did not lay hands on Me; but this hour and the power of darkness are yours.”

Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to Myself.”Now He was saying this to indicate what kind of death He was going to die.

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.And after He had fasted for forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry.And the tempter came and said to Him,“ If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”But He answered and said,“ It is written:‘ Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God.’ ”Then the devil* took Him along into the holy city and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple,and he* said to Him,“ If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written:‘ He will give His angels orders concerning You’; and‘ On their hands they will lift You up, So that You do not strike Your foot against a stone.’ ”Jesus said to him,“ On the other hand, it is written:‘ You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’ ”Again, the devil* took Him along to a very high mountain and* showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory;and he said to Him,“ All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.”Then Jesus* said to him,“ Go away, Satan! For it is written:‘ You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’ ”

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.And he took hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;and he threw him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

but kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son; and he named Him Jesus.

For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted.

In the days of His humanity, He offered up both prayers and pleas with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His devout behavior.

And you, child, also will be called the prophet of the Most High; For you will go on before the Lord to prepare His ways;

It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority was given to him over every tribe, people, language, and nation.

Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels who had seven plagues, which are the last, because in them the wrath of God is finished.And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who were victorious over the beast and his image and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of God.And they* sang the song of Moses, the bond servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,“ Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!Who will not fear You, Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; For all the nations will come and worship before You, For Your righteous acts have been revealed.”After these things I looked, and the temple of the tabernacle of testimony in heaven was opened,and the seven angels who had the seven plagues came out of the temple, clothed in linen, clean and bright, and their chests wrapped with golden sashes.

You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, express any good things? For the mouth speaks from that which fills the heart.

You snakes, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the sentence of hell?

Dan shall be a serpent in the way, A horned viper in the path, That bites the horse’s heels, So that its rider falls backward.

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them,“ You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

“ Their throat is an open grave, With their tongues they keep deceiving,”“ The venom of asps is under their lips”;

And though they hide on the summit of Carmel, I will track them down and take them from there; And though they hide themselves from My sight on the bottom of the sea, I will command the serpent from there, and it will bite them.

When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,and will come out to deceive the nations which are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.

Then after the sixty two weeks, the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.

they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened itself on his hand.When the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they began saying to one another,“ Undoubtedly this man is a murderer, and though he has been saved from the sea, justice has not allowed him to live.”However, Paul shook the creature off into the fire and suffered no harm.Now they were expecting that he was going to swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had waited a long time and had seen nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and began to say that he was a god.
