耶和華上帝所造之百獸、惟蛇最狡、蛇謂婦曰、囿中諸樹、上帝豈語汝勿食乎、

惟恐爾心偏邪、頓失向基督之純潔、如夏娃為蛇詭誘者然、

原無足怪、蓋撒但亦貌為光明之使、

大龍即老蛇、亦名曰魔、曰撒但、迷惑普世者、見投於地、其使亦與焉、

遂執龍、即老蛇、亦為魔為撒但者、縛之以至千年、

我遣爾似羊入狼中、故當智如蛇、馴如鴿、

試者進曰、爾若上帝子、可命此石為餅、

耶和華上帝謂婦曰、爾何為耶、婦曰、蛇誘我、我遂食之、耶和華上帝謂蛇曰、爾既為此、較之六畜百獸、必更見詛、且以腹行、畢生食塵、我以仇隙置爾與婦之間、爰及苗裔、彼將傷爾首、爾將傷其踵、

爾若上帝子、可投下、記有之、彼將命其使以手扶爾、免足觸石、

是日也、耶和華以其堅剛且鉅之刃、罰彼鱷魚、即滑汰之蛇、罰彼鱷魚、即蟠屈之蛇、並戮海中之龍焉、○

耶和華使驢啟口、謂巴蘭曰、我於爾何為、致爾策我者三、巴蘭曰、汝戲我、願有刃在我手、我必殺汝、

為夫者亦宜循理、與婦同居、視猶弱器、共承維生之恩、爾其尊之、免爾之祈禱有所阻也、○

苟有傾跌、可相扶持、惟孤身而傾跌、無扶持者、禍哉其人、

曰、若俯伏拜我、悉以予爾、
