以亞伯拉罕之嘏錫爾、及爾苗裔、俾承所旅之地、即昔上帝所賜亞伯拉罕者、

以亞伯拉罕之嘏錫爾、爰及苗裔、昔上帝以斯土錫亞伯拉罕、而爾旅之、今願與爾為業。

以所許亞伯拉罕之福、賜爾及爾後裔、以所賜亞伯拉罕之地、即爾所寄居之地、賜爾為業、

May he give you and your descendants the blessing given to Abraham, so that you may take possession of the land where you now reside as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.”

May he give you and your children after you the blessing he gave to Abraham. Then you can take over the land where you now live as an outsider. It’s the land God gave to Abraham.”

May he give the blessing of Abraham to you and to your offspring with you, that you may take possession of the land of your sojournings that God gave to Abraham!”

May God pass on to you and your descendants the blessings he promised to Abraham. May you own this land where you are now living as a foreigner, for God gave this land to Abraham.”

May God give you and your offspring the blessing of Abraham so that you may possess the land where you live as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.”

May He also give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your descendants with you, so that you may possess the land where you live as a stranger, which God gave to Abraham.”

And give you the blessing of Abraham, To you and your descendants with you, That you may inherit the land In which you are a stranger, Which God gave to Abraham.”

and give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land of thy sojournings, which God gave unto Abraham.

May God give you and your offspring the blessing of Abraham so that you may possess the land where you live as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.”

這是要使亞伯拉罕所受的祝福可以在耶穌基督身上臨到外國人，使我們可以憑着信領受所應許的聖靈。

永恆主向亞伯蘭顯現，說：『我要把這地賜給你的後裔。』亞伯蘭就在那裏給向他顯現的永恆主築了一座壇。

願祝頌歸與我們主耶穌基督的父上帝；他在基督裏、曾給我們祝福、以賜給我們天界中各樣屬靈的福氣。

永恆主啊，聽我的禱告，側耳聽我的呼救哦；對我的流淚、別靜坐不動呀；因為我是你那裏的寄居客，我是個寄居者、像我列祖一樣。

我就必定大大地賜福與你，必定使你的後裔大大增多，如同天上的星，如同海邊的沙；你的後裔必佔領仇敵的城。地上萬國都必用你後裔的名來給自己祝福，因為你聽了我的聲音。』

我必使你的後裔極能生殖：我必使你立成為國；君王必從你而出。在我與你以及你以後的苗裔之間，我必堅立我的約，做世世代代永遠的約；好讓我做你和你以後的苗裔的上帝。我要將你現在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，賜給你和你以後的苗裔，做永遠的產業；我還要做他們的上帝。』

經書早就見到：上帝要使外國人本於信而得稱義，所以早就傳好消息給亞伯拉罕說：『眾外國必在你身上蒙祝福』。

因着信、他僑居在應許之地做外人，在帳棚裏居住；跟同做後嗣而承受這同一應許的以撒雅各在一起；因為他期待着那有根基的城，就是上帝做其設計者和建造者的。因着信、連撒拉雖過了生育歲數的時期，還能獲得能力而孕懷後裔，因為她以那發應許的為可信可靠；故此竟從一個人、又是彷彿死了的、生出子孫來，像天上的星辰那麼眾多，像海濱的沙那麼無數。這些人都是存着信心而死，沒有領受所應許的，乃是遠遠望見而致敬，承認自己在地上是旅客是寄居的。

願他的名存到永遠，願他的名長立於日光之下；願人都用他的名而給自己祝福；願萬國都稱他為有福。

他說：『其不法行為蒙赦免、其罪得掩沒的、有福啊！主決不算他為有罪的、這人有福啊！』

羅得離別了亞伯蘭以後，永恆主對亞伯蘭說：『從你所在的地方，你舉目向北、向南、向東、向西觀看！你所看見的一切地，我都要賜給你和你的後裔，直到永遠。我要使你的後裔像地上的塵沙那麼多；若有人能數得清地上的塵沙，你的後裔也就能數得清。你起來，縱橫走遍這地，因為我都要賜給你。』

永恆主對亞伯蘭說：『你要離開你本地、你親族、你父親的家，往我所要指示你的地去。『我必使你成為大國；我必給你祝福，使你的名尊大；成為祝福的口頭語：給你祝福的，我也必給他祝福；咒詛你的，我也必咒詛他：地上萬宗族都必用你的名而給自己祝福。』

就在那一天，永恆主就同亞伯蘭立了約說：『這地我已經給了你的後裔了：就是從埃及河直到大河、就是伯拉河、那一帶：就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、高身漢種的人、亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人、之地。』

就領他出去到外邊，說：『你望着天，數數眾星，看能數得過來不能。』又對他說：『你的後裔就要這樣。』亞伯蘭信永恆主，永恆主就給他算為義了。永恆主又對亞伯蘭說：『我是永恆主，曾領你出了迦勒底的吾珥，為的是要將這地賜給你，使你取得它為基業。』
