就起了敬畏的心、說：『這地方何等可畏啊！這不是別的；這就是上帝的殿！這就是天門！』

就惧怕，说：“这地方何等可畏！这不是别的，乃是神的殿，也是天的门。”

He was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”

Jacob was afraid. He said,“ How holy this place is! This must be the house of God. This is the gate of heaven.”

And he was afraid and said,“ How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

But he was also afraid and said,“ What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven!”

He was afraid and said,“ What an awesome place this is! This is none other than the house of God. This is the gate of heaven.”

倘若我躭延，你也可以知道在上帝家中應當怎樣起居。這一種家乃是永活上帝的教會，是真理的柱石和扶牆。

有主的一個天使站在他們旁邊，主的榮光周圍照射他們；他們大為懼怕。

因為時候到了，審判必須從上帝的家起始。既先從你們起始，那麼那些硬不信從上帝福音的人、會有甚麼樣的結局呢？

我所立為聖柱的這根石頭就必做上帝的殿；凡你所賜給我的、我必將十分之一獻與你。』

又說：『我是你父的上帝，亞伯拉罕的上帝、以撒的上帝、雅各的上帝。』摩西掩着面，因為怕望着上帝。

你到上帝的殿、要謹慎腳步；走近前去聽、勝過愚頑人的獻祭；因為他們不知別的，只知作壞事。

上帝對雅各說：『起來，上伯特利去，住在那裏；在那裏造一座祭壇給上帝，你逃避你哥哥以掃時向你顯現的那位。』雅各就對他的家屬和所有同在一起的人說：『要除掉你們中間的外人神像，要潔淨自己，更換衣裳。我們要起來，上伯特利去，我要在那裏造一座祭壇給上帝，就是在我患難的日子回答我，在我走的路上和我同在的那位。』他們就把手裏所有的外人神像、和他們耳朵上的環子給了雅各；雅各把這些東西都埋在示劍附近的聖篤耨香樹底下。他們便起行，隨有極大的驚慌佈滿了四圍的城市，他們就不追趕雅各的兒子了。於是雅各到了迦南地的路斯，就是伯特利，他跟所有在一起的人口一同去。他在那裏築了一座祭壇，就給那地方起名叫伊勒伯特利，因為他逃避他哥哥那時候，上帝是在那裏向他顯示的。利伯加的奶媽底波拉死了，埋葬在伯特利下邊聖橡樹底下；那棵樹名叫亞倫巴古。雅各從巴旦亞蘭回來，上帝又向他顯現，給他祝福，說：『你的名原是雅各；但今後你的名必不再叫雅各；要叫以色列：以色列才要做你的名。』就給他起名叫以色列。上帝對他說：『我是全能的上帝；你要繁殖增多，必有一國、集團之國、由你而生，必有君王由你腰腎中生出。我所賜給亞伯拉罕和以撒的地，這地我必賜給你、和你以後的苗裔。』上帝就從和雅各說話的地方離開他而上升去了。

瑪挪亞對他妻子說：『我們一定死的，因為我們看見了上帝。』

因那雲的緣故，祭司都不能站着供職，因為永恆主的榮光充滿着上帝之殿。

我一看見他，就仆倒在他腳前，像個死人。他把右手按着我說：『別怕了；我是首先的，末後的，

眾人就出來，要看所發生的事；到了耶穌那裏，看見鬼所由出的那人穿着衣裳、神志清明、坐在耶穌腳旁，他們就害怕。

我們又既有一位尊大的祭司治理上帝的家，

門徒聽見就俯伏在地上，極其畏懼。
