乃祝約瑟曰、昔我祖父亞伯拉罕以撒所崇事之上帝、迄今一生育我之上帝、

爾我互相嫁娶、以爾女嫁我、我女任爾娶、

吾主令我誓曰、余居迦南、勿娶其女、為我子婦、

此乃以色列十二支派、其父為之祝嘏而言、各依其所應得者、

如是、我儕以女嫁爾、亦娶爾女、彼此偕居、合為一族、

上帝僕摩西、於未死之先、為以色列人祝嘏、

勿與居民立約、恐彼狥欲、從其神而獻祭、招爾共食祭品、而爾取其女妻爾子、其女狥欲從其神、使爾子亦狥欲從之、

以作嘉肴、依我所嗜、進與我食、及我未死、為爾祝嘏、○
