lest there be any sexually immoral person, or profane person, like Esau, who sold his birthright for one meal.For you know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for a change of mind though he sought it diligently with tears.

Yes, they despised the pleasant land. They didn’t believe his word,

and said,“ What are you willing to give me, that I should deliver him to you?” They weighed out for him thirty pieces of silver.

For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, as the enemies of the cross of Christ,whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who think about earthly things.

If I fought with animals at Ephesus for human purposes, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then“ let’s eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”

But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise,
