看哪！你们却欢喜快乐，杀牛宰羊，吃肉喝酒，说：“让我们吃喝吧！因为明天我们就要死了。”

于是我称赞享乐，因为在日光之下，没有什么好过吃喝享乐——在日光之下，在神赐给人一生的日子里，在他的劳苦中，这些必伴随他。

‘看吧，你们这些好讥诮的人哪！惊奇吧，灭亡吧！因为在你们的时代里，我要做一件事，就算有人向你们详细说明，你们也绝不会相信。’”

又免得有淫乱的，或像以扫那样不敬神的。以扫为了一点食物，就把自己长子的名份卖了；你们知道，后来他想继承祝福，却被弃绝了，虽然他流着泪水寻求，还是找不到悔改的机会。

他们厌弃那宝贵的土地，不相信他的话语；

说：“如果我把他交给你们，你们愿意给我什么？”他们就约定给他三十个银钱。

其实我过去再三地告诉你们，而现在又流着眼泪告诉你们：有许多人的行事为人，是基督十字架的仇敌。他们的结局就是灭亡；他们的神就是自己的私欲；他们的荣耀在自己的羞耻之中；他们所思想的都是地上的事。

我在以弗所与野兽搏斗，如果按人的意思来说，对我有什么好处呢？如果死人不会复活，就“让我们吃吃喝喝吧，因为明天我们就要死了。”

“但那些人不理，就走开了，有的到自己的田里去，有的做自己的生意去。
