利百加有一個哥哥，名叫拉班，拉班就跑到外面井旁那人那裏。

彼土利生利百加。這八個人都是密迦為亞伯拉罕的兄弟拿鶴生的。

以撒就領利百加進了母親撒拉的帳棚，娶了她為妻，並且愛她。以撒自從母親離世以後，這才得了安慰。

你要在耶和華－你神面前告白說：『我的祖先原是一個流亡的亞蘭人，帶着稀少的人丁下到埃及寄居。在那裏，他卻成了又大又強、人數眾多的國。

夜間，神來到亞蘭人拉班那裏，在夢中對他說：「你要小心，不可對雅各說好說歹。」

又趕着他一切的牲畜和他所得的一切財物，就是他在巴旦‧亞蘭所得的，他擁有的牲畜，往迦南地他父親以撒那裏去了。

雅各瞞住亞蘭人拉班，不通知他就逃走了。

以撒送雅各走了，雅各就往巴旦‧亞蘭去，到亞蘭人彼土利的兒子拉班那裏，拉班是利百加的哥哥，利百加是雅各和以掃的母親。以掃見以撒已經為雅各祝福，而且送他往巴旦‧亞蘭去，在那裏娶妻，並且見以撒祝福雅各的時候吩咐他說：「不要娶迦南的女子為妻」，

雅各從巴旦‧亞蘭回來，神又向他顯現，賜福給他。

在以利沙先知的時候，以色列中有許多痲瘋病人，但除了敘利亞的乃縵，沒有一個得潔淨的。」
