However, God came to Laban the Aramean in a dream of the night and said to him,“ Be careful that you do not speak to Jacob either good or bad.”

and he drove away all his livestock and all his property which he had acquired, the livestock he possessed which he had acquired in Paddan aram, to go to the land of Canaan to his father Isaac.

And Jacob deceived Laban the Aramean by not telling him that he was fleeing.

Then Isaac sent Jacob away, and he went to Paddan aram to Laban, son of Bethuel the Aramean, the brother of Rebekah, the mother of Jacob and Esau.Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan aram to take to himself a wife from there, and that when he blessed him he commanded him, saying,“ You shall not take a wife from the daughters of Canaan,”

Then God appeared to Jacob again when he came from Paddan aram, and He blessed him.

And there were many with leprosy in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.”
