But God came to Laban the Aramean in a dream at night.“ Watch yourself!” God warned him.“ Don’t say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.”

He took all the livestock and possessions he had acquired in Paddan-aram, and he drove his herds to go to the land of Canaan, to his father Isaac.

And Jacob deceived Laban the Aramean, not telling him that he was fleeing.

So Isaac sent Jacob to Paddan-aram, to Laban son of Bethuel the Aramean, the brother of Rebekah, the mother of Jacob and Esau.Esau noticed that Isaac blessed Jacob and sent him to Paddan-aram to get a wife there. When he blessed him, Isaac commanded Jacob,“ Do not marry a Canaanite girl.”

God appeared to Jacob again after he returned from Paddan-aram, and he blessed him.

And in the prophet Elisha’s time, there were many in Israel who had leprosy, and yet not one of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian.”
