那人就低头向耶和华下拜，说：“耶和华我主人亚伯拉罕的神是应当称颂的，因他不断地以慈爱诚实待我主人。至于我，耶和华在路上引领我，直走到我主人的兄弟家里。”

因为这神永永远远为我们的神；他必作我们引路的，直到死时。

亚伯拉罕的仆人听见他们这话，就向耶和华俯伏在地。

耶和华你的救赎主，以色列的圣者如此说：“我是耶和华你的神，教训你，使你得益处，引导你所当行的路。

我要教导你，指示你当行的路；我要定睛在你身上劝戒你。

你要专心仰赖耶和华，不可倚靠自己的聪明，在你一切所行的事上都要认定他，他必指引你的路。

那时，我在亚哈瓦河边宣告禁食，为要在我们神面前克苦己心，求他使我们和妇人孩子，并一切所有的，都得平坦的道路。
