然後禱告說：「我主人亞伯拉罕的上帝耶和華啊，求你施恩給我家主人亞伯拉罕，讓事情今天能夠成就。

有智慧的人都當留心這些事，思想耶和華的慈愛。

於是，大衛王走進會幕，在耶和華面前坐下，說：「主耶和華啊，我是誰？我的家算什麼？你竟如此厚待我。主耶和華啊，你覺得這還不夠，你還要施恩賜福給你僕人的後代。主耶和華啊，這樣的福分豈是常人可以得到的？主耶和華啊，我還能對你說什麼呢？你深知你的僕人。

但瑪麗亞把這些事牢記在心裡，反覆思想。

於是，耶穌隨父母回到拿撒勒，並順從他們。瑪麗亞把這一切事牢記在心。

我愛耶和華，因為祂垂聽了我的呼求和禱告。因為祂垂聽我的祈求，我一生都要向祂禱告。死亡的繩索纏繞我，陰間的恐怖籠罩我，我被困苦和憂愁淹沒。於是，我求告耶和華，說：「耶和華啊，求你拯救我。」耶和華仁慈、公義，我們的上帝充滿憐憫。耶和華保護心地單純的人，危難之時祂救了我。我的心啊，再次安寧吧，因為耶和華恩待你。

他們當稱謝耶和華的慈愛，稱謝祂為世人所行的奇事。

可是，老總管說：「既然耶和華已經使我一路順利，請你們不要挽留我，請讓我回到我主人那裡。」

我要常常稱頌耶和華，時刻讚美祂。我要誇耀祂的作為，困苦人聽見必歡欣。讓我們一同頌讚祂的偉大，尊崇祂的名！我向祂禱告，祂便應允我，救我脫離一切恐懼。凡仰望祂的必有榮光，不致蒙羞。我這可憐的人向祂呼求，祂就垂聽，救我脫離一切困境。

你們要稱謝耶和華，因為祂是美善的；祂的慈愛永遠長存。

他們當稱謝耶和華的慈愛，稱謝祂為世人所行的奇事。
