於是以弗崙田在麥比拉、在幔利前者、田與田間之穴、及田中四圍之樹、俱定與亞伯拉罕為業、

So Ephron’s field in Machpelah near Mamre— both the field and the cave in it, and all the trees within the borders of the field— was deeded

So Ephron sold his field to Abraham. The field was in Machpelah near Mamre. Abraham bought the field and the cave that was in it. He also bought all the trees that were inside the borders of the field. Everything was sold

So the field of Ephron in Machpelah, which was to the east of Mamre, the field with the cave that was in it and all the trees that were in the field, throughout its whole area, was made over

So Abraham bought the plot of land belonging to Ephron at Machpelah, near Mamre. This included the field itself, the cave that was in it, and all the surrounding trees.

So Ephron’s field at Machpelah near Mamre— the field with its cave and all the trees anywhere within the boundaries of the field— became

So Ephron’s field, which was in Machpelah, which faced Mamre, the field and the cave which was in it, and all the trees which were in the field, that were within all the confines of its border, were deeded over

So the field of Ephron which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field and the cave which was in it, and all the trees that were in the field, which were within all the surrounding borders, were deeded

So the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the cave which was therein, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all the border thereof round about, were made sure

So Ephron’s field at Machpelah near Mamre— the field with its cave and all the trees anywhere within the boundaries of the field— became

So Abraham secured Ephron’s field in Machpelah, next to Mamre, including the field, the cave that was in it, and all the trees that were in the field and all around its border,

So the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, the cave which was in it, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all of its borders, were deeded

兒子們把他運到迦南地，將他埋葬在麥比拉田地間的洞裏；那洞和田地是亞伯拉罕向赫人以弗崙買來做產業為墳地的；是在幔利東面。

他兒子以撒和以實瑪利將他埋葬在麥比拉洞裏，在幔利東面、赫人瑣轄的兒子以弗崙的田地中，

從此那塊田地和其中的洞、就定準赫人轉歸亞伯拉罕做產業為墳地。

後來就遷運到敘劍，安放於亞伯拉罕在敘劍用價銀從哈抹的兒子購買過來的塋墓裏。

恩待人、借給人的、這人必有福利；他以公正維持自己的事務。

從前在以色列中要確立甚麼事，或是贖回或是交易，有以下這樣的規矩：這人脫鞋給那人：這就是以色列中放棄贖權的證據。因此那位贖業至親對波阿斯說：『你自己買吧』；於是將鞋脫下來。波阿斯對長老們和眾民說：『你們今天作見證：凡屬以利米勒、和基連、瑪倫的、我都從拿俄米手中買來了；也買娶了瑪倫的妻摩押女子路得為妻，好讓死者的名得以在他的產業上立起來，免得死者的名從他族弟兄中、從他故鄉之門下、被剪除：你們今天都作見證。』

看吧，你叔叔沙龍的兒子哈拿篾必來見你、說：「在亞拿突我那田地、你要買它，因為贖回而買的權利和義務是在於你。」我叔叔的兒子哈拿篾果然照永恆主的話到護衛監的院子來對我說：「在便雅憫地的亞拿突我那田地、你要買它，因為那基業的繼承權是在於你；贖回的權也是你的；你要買它。」於是我耶利米就知道這是永恆主的話。『我便向我叔叔的兒子哈拿篾買了在亞拿突那田地，平了價銀，十七舍客勒銀子給他。我在契券上簽名畫押，封好蓋上了印，請了見證人作證，用天平將銀子平給他。我便取了那契券，買了那蓋印封好了的，那有標題和條件的那一聯——和敞着的那一聯；當着我叔叔的兒子哈拿篾眼前，當着那些在契券上簽名畫押做見證人的、和那些坐在護衛監院子的一切猶大人眼前、把買了的契券交給瑪西雅的孫子尼利亞的兒子巴錄。我當着這些人眼前囑咐巴錄說：「萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝這麼說：要將這兩聯契券，這蓋印封好了的購買契券、和這敞着的契券、放在一個瓦器裏，好存留着許多年日。

他又囑咐他們說：『我將要被收殮歸我先族人了；你們要將我埋葬在赫人以弗崙田地間的洞裏，和我祖我父在一處，就是在迦南地、幔利東面、麥比拉田地間的洞。那洞和田地是亞伯拉罕向赫人以弗崙買來做產業為墳地的。他們埋葬了亞伯拉罕和他的妻子撒拉、就是在那裏；埋葬了以撒和他的妻子利伯加、是在那裏；我埋葬了利亞、也是在那裏。那塊田地和田地間的洞、是向赫人買的。』

『看吧，我差遣你們如同綿羊在豺狼中間；所以你們要靈巧像蛇，要天真像鴿子。

你們對於外人要用智慧行事，要爭取時機。

所以要仔細留意、你們怎樣地行；不要做無智慧的，總要做有智慧的人。
