But the angel of the Lord called out to him from heaven,“ Abraham! Abraham!”“ Here I am,” he replied.

Yahweh’s angel called to him out of the sky, and said,“ Abraham, Abraham!” He said,“ Here I am.”

耶和華蒞止、如前呼曰、撒母耳、撒母耳、對曰、請言、爾僕謹聽、

耶和華之使者見之於野、在書珥路之泉旁、

上帝聞孺子聲、其使自天呼夏甲曰、夏甲、何事耶、爾勿懼、孺子在彼、上帝已聞其聲、

耶和華上帝見摩西轉而觀之、則自荊棘中呼之曰、摩西、摩西、曰、我在此、

曰、宜歸主母、服於其下、又曰、我必使爾苗裔繁衍、不可勝數、

遂仆地、聞有聲謂之曰、掃羅掃羅、何窘迫我、

眾皆仆地、我聞有聲、以希伯來音語我曰、掃羅、掃羅、何窘逐我、爾以足觸莿、難矣、

曰、爾於孺子、勿著手、勿加傷、蓋爾於我、不惜獨生之子、我知爾寅畏上帝矣、

曰、耶和華云、爾既行是、不惜獨生之子、我則指己而誓、
