所以你們當彼此認罪，彼此代求，好使你們得痊癒。義人所做的祈禱是大有力量的。

在任何事上都不要憂慮；然而要在一切事上，藉著禱告和祈求，以感謝的心把你們所求的告訴神。

耶和華遠離惡人，卻垂聽義人的禱告。

你們在禱告中無論求什麼，只要信，就必得著。」

耶和華見莉亞被嫌棄，就使她能生育；拉結卻不能生育。

而現在，你要歸還那人的妻子；因為那人是一位先知，他要為你禱告，你就會存活！如果你不歸還，你要知道：你和任何屬於你的人都必定死。」

弟兄們，請為我們禱告。

他們就派人招聚非利士眾首領，說：「把以色列神的約櫃送走吧！讓它回到原處，免得害死我們和我們的民眾。」對死亡的恐慌彌漫全城，神的手重重地壓在那裡。那些沒有死的人都被腫物攻擊，那城的呼救聲上達高天。

以色列的聖者，以色列的塑造者耶和華如此說：「你們當問我即將來臨的事！關於我的子民和我手的作為，難道你們要命令我嗎？

「不斷祈求吧，就會給你們；不斷尋找吧，就會找到；不斷敲門吧，就會為你們開門。

惡人的祭物，為耶和華所憎惡；正直人的禱告，為他所悅納。

「其實從撒母耳以來所有的先知，只要說預言，都同樣地預告了這些日子。
