所以你們要彼此認罪，互相代禱，好得到醫治。義人的禱告有極大的力量和功效。

你們應該一無掛慮，凡事要藉著禱告和祈求，以感恩的心將你們的需要告訴上帝。

耶和華遠離惡人，卻聽義人的禱告。

所以，你們禱告時無論求什麼，只要有信心，就必定得到。」

好讓他們向天上的上帝獻上蒙悅納的祭物，並為王和眾王子求壽。

耶和華看見利亞失寵，就使利亞生育，但拉結卻不生育。

現在你要把那人的妻子還給他，他是個先知，他會為你禱告，使你活命。要知道，如果你不這樣做，你和你的人民都必死。」

弟兄姊妹，請為我們禱告。

他們派人召集非利士的首領，說：「把以色列上帝的約櫃送回原處吧，免得它殺害我們和我們的人民。」因為上帝重重地懲罰他們，全城都籠罩在死亡的恐懼中。那些沒有死的人都飽受毒瘡的折磨，城中的哭喊聲上達於天。

於是，提幔人以利法、書亞人比勒達和拿瑪人瑣法遵命而行，耶和華悅納了約伯的禱告。約伯為朋友們禱告後，耶和華恢復了他以前的昌盛，並且耶和華賜給他的比以前多一倍。

耶和華——以色列的聖者和創造主說：「你們就我子民將來的事質問我嗎？你們發號施令要告訴我如何做嗎？

「祈求，就會給你們；尋找，就會尋見；叩門，就會給你們開門。

耶和華憎恨惡人的祭物，悅納正直人的祈禱。
