掃羅擊亞瑪力人、自哈腓拉至伊及相對相對或作東之書珥、

我儕呼籲主、主垂聽、遣使者導我出伊及、今我在迦叠、爾國之邊界、

厥後我儕遵主我天主諭我之命、自何烈啟行、經歷曠野、亦廣大、亦可畏、爾所目睹、往亞摩利山、遂至迦叠巴尼亞、

亞撒與所率之軍軍原文作民追之至基拉、古實人被殺甚眾、幾盡滅之、幾盡滅之或作不能再強因敗於主及主之軍前、亞撒之軍、奪獲貸財甚多、基拉四圍之諸邑、主使其居民甚懼、亞撒之軍擊之、奪獲諸邑之貨財、諸邑中貨財甚多、

亞伯蘭攜妻、及凡所有者並羅得、出伊及上至迦南之南方、

四王歸至安密巴、即加叠、擊亞瑪力族之徧地、又擊居哈洗遜他瑪之亞摩利族、

主之聲震動曠野、主震動迦叠之曠野、

基拉牧者與以撒牧者爭曰、此水屬我、因其相爭、故以撒稱此井為埃色、埃色譯即相爭之義

時、以撒居南地、適自拉海萊井而歸、
