昔在尋野、加低斯米利巴水、爾曹不於以色列人中、尊我為聖、干罪於我、

掃羅擊亞瑪力人、自哈腓拉、至埃及相對之書珥、

我呼籲耶和華、蒙其垂聽、遣使導我出埃及、今在加低斯、爾國之疆隅也、

厥後、我儕遵我上帝耶和華命、自何烈啟行、經歷曠野、大而可畏、爾所目睹、道由亞摩利山地、至加低斯巴尼亞、

亞撒與所偕之民眾、追之至基拉耳、古實人隕沒者甚眾、不復成軍、因敗於耶和華及其軍前、猶大人獲其貨財甚多、又擊基拉耳四周之邑、以耶和華使之恐懼故也、諸邑多有貨財、猶大人刧掠之、

亞伯蘭挈妻與羅得、及凡所有、出埃及而南往、

四王歸至安密巴、即加低斯、擊亞瑪力之全境、及居哈洗遜他瑪之亞摩利族、

其聲震動曠野、耶和華震動加低斯之曠野兮、

基拉耳牧者與以撒牧者爭曰、此水屬我、緣相爭故、以撒名其井曰埃色、

時、以撒居南方、適自庇耳拉海萊來、
