所多玛人在耶和华面前罪大恶极。

不可附和群众作恶；不可在诉讼中附和群众歪曲公正，作歪曲的见证；

他们若不行恶，难以成眠，不使人跌倒，就睡卧不安；

耶和华说：“所多玛和蛾摩拉罪恶极其严重，控告他们的声音很大。

他们双手善于作恶，君王和审判官都索取贿赂；位高的人吐出心中的欲望，彼此勾结。

他们的脚为杀人流血飞跑；

以色列全会众在旷野向摩西和亚伦发怨言。

就是先知说假预言，祭司把权柄抓在自己手上，我的百姓也喜爱这样，到了结局你们要怎么办呢？”

图谋恶计的心，飞奔行恶的脚，

祭司长和长老挑唆众人，要求释放巴拉巴，除掉耶稣。总督回答他们说：“这两个人，你们要我释放哪一个给你们呢？”他们说：“巴拉巴。”彼拉多说：“这样，那称为基督的耶稣我怎么办他呢？”他们都说：“把他钉十字架！”总督说：“为什么？他做了什么恶事呢？”他们更加喊着说：“把他钉十字架！”彼拉多见说也无济于事，反要生乱，就拿水在众人面前洗手，说：“流这人的血，罪不在我，你们承当吧。”众人都回答：“他的血归到我们和我们的子孙身上！”

你们要走遍耶路撒冷的街市，在广场寻找，看是否有人行公平、求诚实；若有，我就赦免这城。虽然他们说“我对永生的耶和华发誓”，所起的誓实在是假的。耶和华啊，你的眼目不是在寻找诚实吗？你击打他们，他们却不伤恸；你摧毁他们，他们仍不领受管教。他们使脸刚硬过于磐石，不肯回头。我说：“这些人实在是贫寒的，他们是愚昧的，因为不知道耶和华的作为，也不知道他们神的法则。我要去见尊贵的人，向他们说话，他们应该知道耶和华的作为，知道他们神的法则。”然而，这些人却齐心将轭折断，挣开绳索。因此，林中的狮子必害死他们，野地的狼必灭绝他们，豹子在城外窥伺。凡出城的必被撕碎，因为他们的罪过极多，背道的事也增加。
