When they were safely out of the city, one of the angels ordered,“ Run for your lives! And don’t look back or stop anywhere in the valley! Escape to the mountains, or you will be swept away!”

那时，在犹太的，应当逃到山上；在屋顶上的，不要下来拿家里的东西；在田里的，不要回去取衣裳。

罗得的妻子在他后边回头一看，就变成了一根盐柱。

耶稣对他说：“手扶着犁向后看的人，不配进上帝的国。”

你要赶快逃到那城，因为你还没有到那里，我不能做什么。”因此那城名叫琐珥。

弟兄们，我不是以为自己已经得着了；我只有一件事，就是忘记背后，努力面前的，向着标竿直跑，要得上帝在基督耶稣里从上面召我来得的奖赏。

在那日，人在屋顶上，东西在屋里，不要下来拿；人在田里，也不要回家。你们想想罗得的妻子吧！

约翰看见许多法利赛人和撒都该人也来受洗，就对他们说：“毒蛇的孽种啊，谁指示你们逃避那将要来的愤怒呢？

罗得举目，看见约旦河整个平原，直到琐珥，都是水源充足之地。在耶和华未毁灭所多玛、蛾摩拉以前，那地好像耶和华的园子，又像埃及地。

你们要奔逃，自救己命，使你们的性命如旷野里的矮树。

以利亚害怕，就起来逃命，到了犹大的别是巴，把仆人留在那里。

我要向山举目，我的帮助从何而来？

罗得出去，告诉娶了他女儿的女婿们说：“起来，离开这地方，因为耶和华要毁灭这城。”他的女婿们却以为他说的是笑话。天亮了，天使催逼罗得说：“起来！带着你的妻子和你这里的两个女儿出去，免得你因这城的罪孽同被剿灭。”

扫罗派一些使者到大卫的房屋那里守着他，等到天亮要杀他。大卫的妻子米甲对大卫说：“你今夜若不逃命，明日就要被杀。”

二人转身离开那里，往所多玛去；但亚伯拉罕仍然站在耶和华面前。

我们若忽略这么大的救恩，怎能逃避呢？这拯救起先是主亲自讲的，后来是听见的人给我们证实了。
