And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons- in- law, who married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for Jehovah will destroy the city. But he seemed unto his sons- in- law as one that mocked.

So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry his daughters. He said,“ Hurry and get out of this place, because the Lord is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.

Then Lot went out and spoke to his sons- in- law. They had promised to marry his daughters. He said,“ Hurry up! Get out of this place! The Lord is about to destroy the city!” But his sons- in- law thought he was joking.

So Lot went out and said to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters,“ Up! Get out of this place, for the Lord is about to destroy the city.” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be jesting.

So Lot rushed out to tell his daughters’ fiancés,“ Quick, get out of the city! The Lord is about to destroy it.” But the young men thought he was only joking.

So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were going to marry his daughters.“ Get up,” he said.“ Get out of this place, for the LORD is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.

So Lot went out and spoke to his sons in law, who were to marry his daughters, and said,“ Up, get out of this place, for the Lord is destroying the city.” But he appeared to his sons in law to be joking.

Lot went out, and spoke to his sons- in- law, who were pledged to marry his daughters, and said,“ Get up! Get out of this place, for Yahweh will destroy the city!” But he seemed to his sons- in- law to be joking.

Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.

Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.

Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and save every man his life; be not cut off in her iniquity: for it is the time of Jehovah’s vengeance; he will render unto her a recompense.

And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come forth, my people, out of her, that ye have no fellowship with her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues:for her sins have reached even unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.Render unto her even as she rendered, and double unto her the double according to her works: in the cup which she mingled, mingle unto her double.How much soever she glorified herself, and waxed wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall in no wise see mourning.Therefore in one day shall her plagues come, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire; for strong is the Lord God who judged her.

but they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scoffed at his prophets, until the wrath of Jehovah arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

And these words appeared in their sight as idle talk; and they disbelieved them.

Then said I, Ah Lord Jehovah! they say of me, Is he not a speaker of parables?

O Jehovah, thou hast persuaded me, and I was persuaded; thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am become a laughing- stock all the day, every one mocketh me.

They have denied Jehovah, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:and the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them.Wherefore thus saith Jehovah, the God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Now therefore be ye not scoffers, lest your bonds be made strong; for a decree of destruction have I heard from the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, upon the whole earth.

He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck Shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.

Likewise even as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all:after the same manner shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed.

he said, Give place: for the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked; but others said, We will hear thee concerning this yet again.

And he that regarded not the word of Jehovah left his servants and his cattle in the field.

And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve Jehovah, as ye have said.

When they are saying, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in no wise escape.

And as he was yet a coming, the demon dashed him down, and tare him grievously. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.

Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the Plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
