She was sitting in the field, and her husband, Manoah, was not with her.The woman ran quickly to her husband and told him,“ The man who came to me the other day has just come back!”So Manoah got up and followed his wife. When he came to the man, he asked,“ Are you the man who spoke to my wife?”“ I am,” he said.

He himself went on ahead and bowed to the ground seven times until he approached his brother.But Esau ran to meet him, hugged him, threw his arms around him, and kissed him. Then they wept.When Esau looked up and saw the women and children, he asked,“ Who are these with you?” He answered,“ The children God has graciously given your servant.”Then the slaves and their children approached him and bowed down.Leah and her children also approached and bowed down, and then Joseph and Rachel approached and bowed down.

She fell facedown, bowed to the ground, and said to him,“ Why have I found favor with you, so that you notice me, although I am a foreigner?”

When the sons of the prophets from Jericho who were observing saw him, they said,“ The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” They came to meet him and bowed down to the ground in front of him.
