The LORD appeared to Abraham by the oaks of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent during the hottest time of the day.

一日亭午、亞伯拉罕坐於幕門、近幔利之橡、耶和華顯見於彼、

一日時已亭午、亞伯拉罕坐於幕門、其幕在慢哩橡下、耶和華顯現。

主顯現於亞伯拉罕在幔利橡樹處、日亭午、亞伯拉罕適坐幕門、

The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day.

The Lord appeared to Abraham near the large trees of Mamre. Abraham was sitting at the entrance to his tent. It was the hottest time of the day.

And the Lord appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day.

The Lord appeared again to Abraham near the oak grove belonging to Mamre. One day Abraham was sitting at the entrance to his tent during the hottest part of the day.

So Abram moved his tents and went to live by the oaks of Mamre in Hebron, and he built an altar to the LORD there.

A fugitive came and told Abram the Hebrew. Now Abram was living by the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, the brother of Eshcol and Aner.( All these were allied by treaty with Abram.)

Jacob said to Joseph,“ The sovereign God appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me.

The LORD appeared to Isaac and said,“ Do not go down to Egypt; settle down in the land that I will point out to you.

So he replied,“ Brothers and fathers, listen to me. The God of glory appeared to our forefather Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he settled in Haran,

When he finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him.

That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him,“ Tell me what I should give you.”

When Abram was 99 years old, the LORD appeared to him and said,“ I am the sovereign God. Walk before me and be blameless.Then I will confirm my covenant between me and you, and I will give you a multitude of descendants.”Abram bowed down with his face to the ground, and God said to him,

After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision:“ Fear not, Abram! I am your shield and the one who will reward you in great abundance.”

The LORD appeared to Abram and said,“ To your descendants I will give this land.” So Abram built an altar there to the LORD, who had appeared to him.

Moses answered again,“ And if they do not believe me or pay attention to me, but say,‘ The LORD has not appeared to you’?”
