I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

I will make my covenant with you last forever. It will be between me and you and your family after you for all time to come. I will be your God. And I will be the God of all your family after you.

And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.

“ I will confirm my covenant with you and your descendants after you, from generation to generation. This is the everlasting covenant: I will always be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

I will confirm my covenant that is between me and you and your future offspring throughout their generations. It is a permanent covenant to be your God and the God of your offspring after you.

当天晚上，耶和华向他显现说：“我是你父亲亚伯拉罕的上帝。你不用惧怕，因为我与你同在。为了我仆人亚伯拉罕的缘故，我必赐福给你，使你子孙众多。”

耶和华站在梯子上对雅各说：“我是耶和华，是你祖父亚伯拉罕的上帝，也是以撒的上帝。我要把你现在躺卧的地方赐给你和你的后代。

主又说，那些日子以后，我将与以色列家立这样的约，我要把我的律法放在他们脑中，写在他们心上。我要做他们的上帝，他们要做我的子民。

然而，他们渴慕的是天上更美的家乡。所以，上帝不以被他们称为上帝为耻，因为祂已经为他们预备了一座城。

就在那天，耶和华跟亚伯兰立约，说：“我必将这片土地赐给你的后代，使他们得到从埃及河到幼发拉底河一带的土地，

我要在你们中间往来。我要做你们的上帝，你们要做我的子民。

因为这应许是给你们和你们的儿女，以及远方的人，就是所有被主——我们的上帝呼召的人。”

亚伯拉罕的后裔不一定都是亚伯拉罕的儿女，圣经上说：“以撒生的才可算为你的后裔。”这话的意思是：亚伯拉罕凭血气所生的儿女并不是上帝的儿女，只有凭应许所生的才算是他的后裔。因为上帝曾这样应许他：“明年这时候，我会再来，撒拉必生一个儿子。”

祂说，‘我是亚伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。’上帝不是死人的上帝，而是活人的上帝。”

祂怜悯我们的祖先，持守自己的圣约，就是祂对我们的先祖亚伯拉罕所起的誓，要把我们从仇敌手中拯救出来，使我们一生一世在圣洁和公义中坦然无惧地事奉祂。

他们将在那里安然居住，兴建房屋，栽种葡萄园。我审判鄙视他们的四邻后，他们必安然居住。这样，他们便知道我是他们的上帝耶和华。’”

又说：“我是你祖先的上帝，是亚伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。”摩西害怕看上帝，就把脸蒙起来。

身为以色列人，他们拥有上帝儿子的名分、上帝的荣耀、诸约、律法、圣殿敬拜和各种应许。

祂永远记得祂的约，历经千代也不忘祂的应许，就是祂与亚伯拉罕所立的约，向以撒所起的誓。祂把这约定为律例赐给雅各，定为永远的约赐给以色列。祂说：“我必把迦南赐给你，作为你的产业。”

上帝又对摩西说：“你要告诉以色列人是我派遣你到他们那里，我是他们祖先的上帝耶和华，是亚伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。耶和华是我的名字，直到永远，世世代代的人都要这样称呼我。

你必按古时给我们列祖的誓言，以信实待雅各，以慈爱待亚伯拉罕。

我向他们坚守所立的约，要把他们寄居的迦南赐给他们。

祂扶助了自己的仆人以色列，祂要施怜悯给亚伯拉罕和他的子孙，直到永远，正如祂对我们祖先的应许。”

现在，倘若你们认真听从我的话，遵守我的约，就必在万民中做我的子民，因为普天下都是我的。你们要归于我，作祭司之国、圣洁之邦。这些话你要告诉以色列人。’”

那时，你们随从今世的风俗，顺服在空中掌权的魔鬼，就是如今在一切叛逆上帝之人心中运行的邪灵。

耶稣看见后很生气，对门徒说：“让小孩子到我这里来，不要阻止他们，因为上帝的国属于这样的人。

上帝曾向亚伯拉罕和他的后裔赐下应许，不过这里没有说“后裔们”——指许多人，而是说“你的后裔”——指一个人，就是基督。我的意思是：四百三十年后颁布的律法不会废除上帝先前立下的约，以致应许落空。

我是你们的上帝耶和华，曾把你们带出埃及。张开你们的口吧，我必使你们饱足。
