Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised,

Now Abraham was 99 years old when he was circumcised;

He received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while he was in uncircumcision, that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they might be in uncircumcision, that righteousness might also be accounted to them.

So Abram went, as Yahweh had told him. Lot went with him. Abram was seventy- five years old when he departed from Haran.

When Abram was ninety- nine years old, Yahweh appeared to Abram and said to him,“ I am God Almighty. Walk before me and be blameless.

Then Abraham fell on his face, and laughed, and said in his heart,“ Will a child be born to him who is one hundred years old? Will Sarah, who is ninety years old, give birth?”

Without being weakened in faith, he didn’t consider his own body, already having been worn out,( he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.Yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn’t waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God,
