So Sarai said to Abram,“ See now, the Lord has restrained me from bearing children. Please, go in to my maid; perhaps I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram heeded the voice of Sarai.

撒莱对亚伯兰说：“耶和华使我不能生育。求你和我的使女同房，或者我可以因她得孩子。”亚伯兰听从了撒莱的话。

撒莱对亚伯兰说：“看哪，耶和华使我不能生育。你来和我的婢女同房，也许我可以从她得孩子。”亚伯兰听从了撒莱的话。

撒莱对亚伯兰说：“看哪，耶和华使我不能生育。你来和我的婢女同房，也许我可以从她得孩子。”亚伯兰听从了撒莱的话。

撒莱对亚伯兰说：“耶和华不让我生育，请你与我的婢女同房，也许我可以借着她生子立后。”亚伯兰同意了撒莱的话。

撒莱对亚伯兰说：“请看，耶和华使我不能生育，求你去亲近我的婢女，或者我可以从她得孩子。”亚伯兰就听从了撒莱的话。

撒莱对亚伯兰说：“看哪，耶和华使我不能生育，请你与我的婢女同房，或许我可以藉着她立后。”亚伯兰听从了撒莱的话。

撒萊對亞伯蘭說：「耶和華使我不能生育。求你和我的使女同房，或者我可以因她得孩子。」亞伯蘭聽從了撒萊的話。

撒萊對亞伯蘭說：「看哪，耶和華使我不能生育。你來和我的婢女同房，也許我可以從她得孩子。」亞伯蘭聽從了撒萊的話。

撒萊對亞伯蘭說：「看哪，耶和華使我不能生育。你來和我的婢女同房，也許我可以從她得孩子。」亞伯蘭聽從了撒萊的話。

撒萊對亞伯蘭說：「耶和華不讓我生育，請你與我的婢女同房，也許我可以藉著她生子立後。」亞伯蘭同意了撒萊的話。

撒萊對亞伯蘭說：“請看，耶和華使我不能生育，求你去親近我的婢女，或者我可以從她得孩子。”亞伯蘭就聽從了撒萊的話。

撒萊對亞伯蘭說：『你看，永恆主抑制我、使我不能生育；求你進去找我婢女，或者我的後裔得以樹立起來。』亞伯蘭聽從了撒萊的話。

撒萊對亞伯蘭說：「看哪，耶和華使我不能生育，請你與我的婢女同房，或許我可以藉著她立後。」亞伯蘭聽從了撒萊的話。

撒萊謂亞伯蘭曰、耶和華禁我生育、請爾與我婢同室、我或可因之得子、亞伯蘭從其言、

撒勑謂亞伯蘭曰、耶和華不賜我生育、爾且與婢同室、或可因之以得子。亞伯蘭從其言。

撒萊謂亞伯蘭曰、主不賜我生育、爾且與我婢同室、我或可因之得子、亞伯蘭從撒萊言、

so she said to Abram,“ The Lord has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my slave; perhaps I can build a family through her.” Abram agreed to what Sarai said.

So she said to Abram,“ The Lord has kept me from having children. Go and sleep with my slave. Maybe I can have a family through her.” Abram agreed to what Sarai had said.

And Sarai said to Abram,“ Behold now, the Lord has prevented me from bearing children. Go in to my servant; it may be that I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.

So Sarai said to Abram,“ The Lord has prevented me from having children. Go and sleep with my servant. Perhaps I can have children through her.” And Abram agreed with Sarai’s proposal.

Sarai said to Abram,“ Since the LORD has prevented me from bearing children, go to my slave; perhaps through her I can build a family.” And Abram agreed to what Sarai said.

So Sarai said to Abram,“ See now, the Lord has prevented me from bearing children. Please have relations with my slave woman; perhaps I will obtain children through her.” And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.

And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, Jehovah hath restrained me from bearing; go in, I pray thee, unto my handmaid; it may be that I shall obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

Sarai said to Abram,“ Since the Lord has prevented me from bearing children, go to my slave; perhaps through her I can build a family.” And Abram agreed to what Sarai said.

And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

So Sarai said to Abram,“ Since the LORD has prevented me from having children, have sexual relations with my servant. Perhaps I can have a family by her.” Abram did what Sarai told him.

Sarai said to Abram,“ See now, Yahweh has restrained me from bearing. Please go in to my servant. It may be that I will obtain children by her.” Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.

Now Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward.

And He said,“ I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.”( Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.)

for the Lord had closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife.

When Leah saw that she had stopped bearing, she took Zilpah her maid and gave her to Jacob as wife.And Leah’s maid Zilpah bore Jacob a son.

Then the man said,“ The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”

And all the people who were at the gate, and the elders, said,“ We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman who is coming to your house like Rachel and Leah, the two who built the house of Israel; and may you prosper in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem.

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman,“ Has God indeed said,‘ You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”And the woman said to the serpent,“ We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden;but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said,‘ You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’”Then the serpent said to the woman,“ You will not surely die.For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb.

If his master has given him a wife, and she has borne him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her master’s, and he shall go out by himself.

And Jacob’s anger was aroused against Rachel, and he said,“ Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”So she said,“ Here is my maid Bilhah; go in to her, and she will bear a child on my knees, that I also may have children by her.”Then she gave him Bilhah her maid as wife, and Jacob went in to her.

Then to Adam He said,“ Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying,‘ You shall not eat of it’:“ Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life.

And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be from her.”

Then Rachel said,“ God has judged my case; and He has also heard my voice and given me a son.” Therefore she called his name Dan.
