So Abram said to Lot,“ Let’s not have any quarreling between you and me, or between your herders and mine, for we are close relatives.

So Abram said to Lot,“ Let’s not argue with each other. The people taking care of your herds and those taking care of mine shouldn’t argue with one another either. After all, we’re part of the same family.

Then Abram said to Lot,“ Let there be no strife between you and me, and between your herdsmen and my herdsmen, for we are kinsmen.

Finally Abram said to Lot,“ Let’s not allow this conflict to come between us or our herdsmen. After all, we are close relatives!

So Abram said to Lot,“ Please, let’s not have quarreling between you and me, or between your herdsmen and my herdsmen, since we are relatives.

So Abram said to Lot,“ Please let there be no strife between you and me, nor between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are relatives!

乃兄弟爭訟且訟於不信者前乎、爾曹爭訟、其過大矣、孰若受害受虧為美、

昆弟同居、日相敦睦、盡美盡善兮。

明日見兄弟鬥、勸之使和曰、爾乃兄弟、何相害也、

他拉之裔如左。他拉生亞伯蘭、拿鶴、哈蘭、哈蘭生羅得。死於故土、即迦勒底之耳邑、其時父他拉尚在。亞伯蘭拿鶴咸娶室、亞伯蘭妻撒勑、拿鶴妻密迦、密迦暨以士迦、俱哈蘭之女。撒勑不妊故無出。他拉挈其子亞伯蘭、及孫羅得、即哈蘭子、並其媳、即亞伯蘭妻撒勑、咸出迦勒底之耳邑、欲往迦南、至於哈蘭居焉。

不友兄弟者、恆在死所、我友兄弟、故知出死入生、怨兄弟者、罪等殺人、爾知殺人者、不得永生、基督為我捐軀則其愛我可知、我亦當為兄弟捐軀、人有恆產、見兄弟匱乏、而不開誠施與、烏能愛上帝哉、小子相愛、勿口尚虛詞、必行期實踐、由此可知、我從真理、則於主前、我心亦安、

有虔宜有弟、有弟宜有仁、

行事勿怨讟、勿疑辯、

遣兄弟歸曰、途間毋相爭競。○

人憎兄弟、言處光明、實居暗昧、人而友兄弟、則處光明、無陷罪之由、憎兄弟者、行止悉於暗昧、迷於向往、眊其眸子故也、

悻悻者必啟爭端、有容者可止凌競。

論悌弟則相友、論長長則相讓、

明日又出、見希百來二人鬥、謂不義者曰、何傷爾同儔。

宜與眾相睦、惟務潔清、蓋不潔者不得謁主、

其言也溫、可以息怒、其辭也厲、足以激變。

言及友誼、無庸我書、因上帝示爾、彼此相友、

要之意宜僉同、體恤倍至、敦友誼、懷惠心、相接以禮、

息爭可得譽、凌競為愚人、

由上之智、即廉潔、和平、溫良、寛恕、恆存矜恤善行、絕諸偏視偽為、行和平者、種和平也、必結善果、

謙讓、溫柔、忍耐、仁恕、以平和相維繫、務守聖神所賦之一心、

切當敦仁、仁者無惡不隱、

爾既感聖神潔靈府、順真理、友誼無偽、誠心切愛、

恆敦友誼、

和平者福矣、以其將稱為上帝子也、

厚以待眾、友於兄弟、畏上帝、敬君王、
