So Pharaoh summoned Abram and accused him sharply.“ What have you done to me?” he demanded.“ Why didn’t you tell me she was your wife?

So Pharaoh summoned Abram.“ What have you done to me?” he said.“ Why didn’t you tell me she was your wife?

So Pharaoh sent for Abram and said,“ What have you done to me? Why didn’t you tell me she was your wife?

And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What[ is] this[ that] thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she[ was] thy wife?

So Pharaoh summoned Abram and said,“ What is this you have done to me? Why didn’t you tell me that she was your wife?

Pharaoh called Abram and said,“ What is this that you have done to me? Why didn’t you tell me that she was your wife?

Then Abimelech called for Abraham.“ What have you done to us?” he demanded.“ What crime have I committed that deserves treatment like this, making me and my kingdom guilty of this great sin? No one should ever do what you have done!Whatever possessed you to do such a thing?”

“ Tell me what you have done,” Saul demanded of Jonathan.“ I tasted a little honey,” Jonathan admitted.“ It was only a little bit on the end of my stick. Does that deserve death?”

The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the Lord; he guides it wherever he pleases.

Finally, he turned to Aaron and demanded,“ What did these people do to you to make you bring such terrible sin upon them?”

Immediately, Abimelech called for Isaac and exclaimed,“ She is obviously your wife! Why did you say,‘ She is my sister’?”“ Because I was afraid someone would kill me to get her from me,” Isaac replied.“ How could you do this to us?” Abimelech exclaimed.“ One of my people might easily have taken your wife and slept with her, and you would have made us guilty of great sin.”Then Abimelech issued a public proclamation:“ Anyone who touches this man or his wife will be put to death!”

But the Lord said,“ What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground!

“ What have you done?” Joseph demanded.“ Don’t you know that a man like me can predict the future?”

“ What do you mean by deceiving me like this?” Laban demanded.“ How dare you drag my daughters away like prisoners of war?

Then the Lord God asked the woman,“ What have you done?”“ The serpent deceived me,” she replied.“ That’s why I ate it.”

Then Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, by telling the truth. Make your confession and tell me what you have done. Don’t hide it from me.”
