For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Of course not! If God were not entirely fair, how would he be qualified to judge the world?“ But,” someone might still argue,“ how can God condemn me as a sinner if my dishonesty highlights his truthfulness and brings him more glory?”And some people even slander us by claiming that we say,“ The more we sin, the better it is!” Those who say such things deserve to be condemned.

Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there.When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them.But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God.

Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming.
