God blessed them and said to them,“ Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

上帝錫嘏挪亞及其子、曰、生育眾多、昌熾於地、

爾將生育眾多、昌熾於地。○

我將眷顧爾曹、與爾立約、使爾繁衍昌熾。

耶和華上帝、創造穹蒼、奠定寰宇、非徒然也、乃俾斯民安處焉、其言曰、我耶和華而外、無他也。

祝之曰、生育眾多、充牣於海、禽鳥繁衍於地。

建築宮室、不蒙耶和華祐、俱為徒勞兮、謹守城垣、不賴耶和華助、亦為虛事兮、由是觀之、縱夙興夜寐、心緒紛紜、以謀餬口、亦係徒勞、上帝所愛者、必得安寢兮。人生子女、耶和華所賜、婦女產育、皆彼賞賚兮、有子英勇、猶武夫有利鏃兮、人多男子、猶弢集眾矢、必邀純嘏、邑門禦敵、不蒙愧恥兮。

禽鳥、六畜、昆蟲、生物、皆可挈之以出、使孳生產育、繁衍於地。

妻處閨房、如葡萄之結果、子繞几席、如橄欖之滿園兮。敬畏耶和華之人、必得福祉、亦若是兮、

我必大賚爾福祉、昌熾爾子孫、如天星之眾多、如海沙之無量、爾子孫將勝諸敵、因爾遵我命、天下兆民將藉爾裔而受福祉。

雅必禱以色列族之上帝、曰、願爾錫嘏於我、恢擴四境、眷祐乎我、免遭患難、毫無所憂。上帝允其所祈。

主錫純嘏、俾生齒繁衍、六畜眾多兮。

我將錫嘏、賜之生子、為群民母、列王由之出。

至以實馬利、我應爾求、我將錫嘏其裔、繁衍不可勝數、必出十二牧伯、昌大其國。

六亞米利、七以薩迦、八庇耳太、蓋上帝錫嘏阿伯以東、

是夜耶和華顯現、謂之曰、勿懼、我乃爾父亞伯拉罕之上帝、為我僕亞伯拉罕故、我必佑爾、錫嘏於爾、蕃衍爾苗裔。

爾父之上帝、眷祐於爾、全能之主、錫嘏於爾、天上之繁祉、地下之名泉、產育乳哺之福。

以掃見婦與子、問為誰。曰、蒙上帝恩、賜子與僕。

旅於斯土、我將佑爾、錫嘏於爾、以此列邦賜爾、爰及苗裔、昔與爾父亞伯拉罕誓、我踐其言、必繁衍爾苗裔、如天星之眾多、以此列邦錫之、天下兆民、將藉爾裔而受福。

祝利百加曰、爾乃我骨肉、願爾為億兆母、汝之苗裔、可勝諸敵。○

願天地河海、以及百物、咸頌美上帝兮、
